This was my mom and uncle’s Astro Boy. The weird Canadian dub. Both 1980 eng dubs are bad but I officially think this is the dub of an anime that caused my family to think anime was strictly for kids. Had they been exposed to the American dub (which they probably had at some point on some Canadian station who knows, Astro boy came on a lot of Canadian channels back then) their tone would have probably shifted a little bit differently. Anyone who’s got a good enough memory could you give me the scoop on where Astro Boy aired at that time and if they aired more than one dub in Canada because I’d really love to know lol. I know it was on global and cbc but it could have been on TVO for all I know and other channels too… Recollections anyone? Any leads could help, cause these episodes still need to be dug up and I’m willing to take a crack at it

I know each of Marty's songs by heart, and I just wish Marty would sing more songs. I pray one day I could meet Marty in person, He is one of my unsung heroes. God bless you Marty and your family.
