This is not a hating comment,just my opinion.This song shouldn’t be in a hunger games edit.This song is about doing what you love and achieving your goals and dreams and become famous,and Hunger Games is the opposite of this.They became famous by being forced to kill innocent kids,by some evil politicians against their will,traumatizing them for life.That’s how they became famous.But the hunger games isn’t about this.Is about how they escaped and what they did to survive this horrible experiences,not about them becoming famous through a bunch of dumb capitol people who enjoyed watching the games.I love hunger games edits,but mixing it together with this song is really messed up.Again,this is JUST my opinion.If you disagree that’s fine,don’t come repplying like ‘oh what hater,if you don’t have anything nice to say,don’t say anything at all,bla bla bla’

Clair Costyin Thank you for your comment. Of course the premise of the books is horrible. Post apocalyptic world where to keep everyone in line the 1% force poverty stricken children to compete in a death tournament. Sadly when I made this I did not have access to Mockingjay scenes. But here is my logic for choosing the song. The change and rebellion we see throughout the series would not have started were it not for the “Hall of Famers”. I in no way support the idea that it is alright for anyone to fight to the death for entertainment or to be praised for it. However because these games the spotlight is turned on Katniss, Peta, Finnik, etc. who are all advocates for change which terrifies the government. They give hope to the people in their districts and others. They inspire people to fight for their right to be free and to overthrow an oppressive government. The Hunger Games Hall of Fame Victors can be looked at two different ways. Celebrating people for being sheep and murdering other children, or as a platform that allowed courageous people to take a stand for those that were suffering. The games were widely broadcasted and people were expected to watch the carnage and the aftermath. It was the perfect and possibly only way that a rebellion could have been organized in that situation. So I’m sorry to disagree with you but I believe this is the perfect song for this series.
