The basic premise is good. Because there are no other comments here, I am going to step out here a bit. I am confused about why, as a pastor, you don't address people's behavior? To disciple, pastors are called to admonish (kindly but firmly urge someone away from a wrong direction), Exhort (kindly but firmly urge someone toward a right direction). Aside from 2 Tim 4:2, Romans 15:14, 1 Thess 5:14, 2 Thess 5:15, 2 Tim 2:24-26, 2 Tim 4:2, Titus 1:9, Titus 2:15 (etc., etc.,)... I encourage you to follow the example of the man you admire, Paul, in 1 Corinthians 4:14. To simply say that you just allow the Holy Spirit to speak to someone is (sorry) rather cowardly. We aren't to be like that woman you spoke of, but we are to encourage each other day after (Heb 3:13)... and, amazingly enough, in the Greek, that word for encourage is not being a cheerleader, woo-hoo'ing someone. The Greek tells us it is... wait for it... admonish and exhort. As pastors, we are to show ourselves to be brave and learn to balance what God calls us to versus brutality (like the woman you addressed). Walk out 1 Cor 16:13 in strength and the love of Jesus who set healthy boundaries... He said, "You are my friends IF..." it's conditional "you obey my commands (John 14:15 and John 15:14). His love is conditionally unconditional. Peace Brother.

I have never heard of a church that instead of helping a person in need, they call the cops and have that very same person 86 from the church! Why?? Because they looked dirty or not quit right in the head? Shouldn't you so called Christians go to them and pray over them! Maybe that's all they require! My son Joseph who is only 23 has gone to this church a few times with my mom and a few times by himself! Joseph has schizophrenia you see, and has a lot of things going on inside his head! My mom and I prayed to God that God sends good people in Joseph's life to help him . He attended the men's Bible study breakfast a few times as well so he is no stranger to this church! My beautiful son thinks the world is out to get him including me his mom! Makes me so sad because my boy is the sweetest, he just has a mental illness.. he moved out of my house and since has been living in his truck for over a month now, and let me tell you it's the hardest thing to watch and not have the ability to help for he thinks I too am out to get him! He has been trying to find side jobs to make money for he has a truck payment and phone and insurance! After not hearing from Joseph for over a month now, I go visit my mother in Powell Butte and I see Joseph's truck so I stop get out give him some money and pray for over him. He is skinny, dirty and could use a shower! We prayed over Joseph right then and there that God continue to have his beautiful guardian angels watch over him and keep him safe! So what does my son do after on his own accord and free will? Go to a place of refuge, a place where he should feel safe and the presence of his fellow brothers and sisters and Christians. Yes while the service was being taught he was in the back waiting walking pacing waiting for service to get over because he was going to go ask a few farmers if they had work for him because he was hungry. But instead of open arms he gets the cops called on him and kicked out of the church. What kind of church is this? what kind of Christian people kick someone down when they're already down? My son Joseph came to you guys because he felt safe. Shame on you people!! Joseph went to the only place where he felt safe and also because my God, my heavenly Father answered my prayers! This church is a disgrace and sad that this is how you so called Christian church helps! MY SON CAME TO YOU PEOPLE FOR HELP!! just because some felt the way they did, cops should of never been called! Period! My son is no threat, and should of been greeted with opened arms... It took a lot for Joseph to go to church at his own free will, that speaks volume actually, it means deep down he trusted this church! Not a single person went to Joseph seeing if he needed anything, or to pray over him , NOTHING! What kind of church does this? Definitely not one I want to associate myself with.. Joseph has since then not been seen by anyone, for I could only imagine how he feels!! What a disgrace from fellow Christians of Christ! Luke 6:36-37 36 Be merciful, just as your Father is merciful. 37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven Colossians 3:12-13 12 Therefore, as God's chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you Matthew 7:1-2 "Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you called to address our own faults and sins before attempting to correct others. Romans 2:1 "Therefore you have no excuse, O man, every one of you who judges. For in passing judgment on another you condemn yourself, because you, the judge, practice the very same things

6:56 minutes, "I'm an honest person..." Really? Lance Lupton... THIS Lance Lupton starved, abused, and deprived 5 horses of water and care for YEARS!!! I met him on a dating site, and after witnessing his narcissistic behavior and total disregard and disrespect for any life other than his own, I reported him to animal services. THAT was our one and only date!!! Lance H. Lupton, formerly of 23388 Butterfield Trail, Bend, OR. would allow his elderly fallen Mother to lie on the path while he poked at her with his foot and wished her an evil, heartless "good luck" at getting back to her feet and back to her room at the massive estate she owned. Later the courts would grant Lance Lupton's creditor, whom he attempted to defraud, the sum of his abused, deceased mother Lela Mae Lupton's wealth and estate. ANYBODY who has any respect for this wicked, heartless, arrogant phony needs to do their research. It is quite easy, just Google this monster!!! Lance did not even try to conceal his depravity on my initial, and only visit. His cruel behaviors are engrained in his daily life... His "norm"!!! You can bet that Lance has his eye on money and will find a way to financially benefit from his involvement with Shiloh Church. PLEASE research him!!!!!

So much Truth in this message. I'd even told some of my friends/ group some of these things years ago. That one can never totally fulfill purpose/destiny without being confident in who they are. The enemy will always question and challenge your identity. He even did it with Jesus. Right after John the immerser baptized Jesus and the Father declared openly declared, This is My Beloved Son in whom I am well pleased. Immediately the Spirit led Jesus into the wilderness and attempted to cast doubt upon His identity. If You be the Son of God turn these stones into bread. I'm so thankful to have come across Jamie's teachings, especially in this season. There was a time I was functioning more in this Truth until life happenings hit me hard and the accusations of the accuser of the brethren began to ask that familiar question, Who do you think you are? Whoa, my confidence in my God given identity began to crumble beneath the lost that life happenings, circumstances. So glad to be learning, relearning these Truths that dispel the false identity I'd fallen into! 👏🏼🎉

Wow. You had me until you said God is judging sexual behavior not sexual preference. We often teach that God doesn't simply want behavior modification, he wants character transformation. Is not the proclivity toward a behavior just as bad as participation? Doesn't Jesus say that to look after a woman to lust after her is just as bad as doing the deed (Matt 5:28)? Doesn't scripture say that as a man thinks in his heart, so he is (Prov 23:7)? God calls that a double heart (Ps 12:2) and being double minded (James 1:8). And as such, we CANNOT please God when the mind is set on the flesh, even if we don't participate in it (Romans 8:6-8). It is what is in our hearts that defiles us (Matt 15:19). We have to cleans both the inside, our hearts and minds, and the outside, our behaviors, (James 4:8). And in the transition, completely releasing one proclivity, comes transformation. Grace isn't enabling bad behavior in the name of sin. Grace is making allowances when someone is weak on their way to BECOMING strong. It is in that transition, that we receive mercy.
