I think the trumpeter may be Nathan Wolman from the Secret Six Jazz Band. He also plays with James Evans. It's difficult to be sure as the microphone is blocking the view a little bit.

Yes, that is how it was. These guys have other commitments these days. Shaye was apparently in Japan and I do not know about the others

MM, you don't allow comments on your recent videos so I am posting here. The video of Shotgun Jazz Band you titled as "Wab Blues" is actually "Wabash Blues." It appears that you are using shorthand abbreviations for the titles of the tunes in your videos. This does a disservice to the new listener who has no idea what you are trying to say. Those of us familiar with the music get it, but casual fans just discovering this music are going to be confused.
