Weird how this popped up on my recommendations, I have driven past that place a few times and always wondered what was in there. Not at all what I was expecting, I think the last time I drove past there was over 20 years ago I wonder if it’s the same thing it was back then. Anyway great video. Liked and subscribed.

Does it matter if you bring gas tank close to mechanical fuel pump than where it should be stock. Will fuel pressure be different than where stock gas tank is at stock placement. Does psi get greater or not.
@bonesaw552 жыл бұрын
There will be no pressure issues. The pressure from a mechanical pump is only on the outlet so having the tank closer to the pump won’t increase the pressure. Good luck with your project

Im doing a quadrajet to edelbrock conversion on a stock intake my spacer has 4 hex bolts that mount it to the intake i found that will not work unless it is on an aluminum intake do i just screw the studs into the intake and mount the spacer and carb that way
@bonesaw552 жыл бұрын
So the front bolt holes should line up and you put your carb studs in the there on the back the. Spacer should have hex holes, those will face down and put the bolts so the head is captured by the spacer and threads up. That will be your new carb mounting point. The outer rear holes will then bolt to the intake. Hope this helps. Good luck with your project

Fuel and oil does NOT look like a milkshake. You have some bad information in this video. Fuel will simply thin the oil down and cause an overfill issue when checking the oil on the dipstick.

@@bonesaw55 Thanks. It's a 1968 Corolla. I got it for $300 back in 1988, put a battery and brakes, tires on it. My first car. I thought to myself, I'll just drive it til I find somthing better. Still driving it. She's due for a little spruce up after 50 years as a daily, I've put many hundreds of thousands of miles on it. Spent a long time gathering parts and built a complete new engine inside and out a couple of years ago. It surprisingly peppy for it's size, about 66 cu. in. 75 hp stock. Car only weighs 1500 lbs, 4:22 rear acts like a posi, good torque ( I've twisted a few u-joints and broke one of the bolts keeping the rear centered on the leaf springs) 4 speed. I've tinkered with it over the years but putting it mostly back to stock now. Turns out it's a first generation (KE10), first model Corolla introduced in the US. They were late in the year when they started and only had 6 months, sold 7,242. I'll try to stop typing now but you get a sub for the long story!
