Another of my favorite songs. Again her words are so heartfelt and everything I believe , the signs I receive from loved ones let me know never give up even when under attack by those who breed hatred for everything we stand for united

I loved this song the first time I heard it on The New Country Collection cassette tape. So many great songs that are impossible to find and listen to on digital platforms these days. Thanks for posting it here.

You are the moonlight, I am the stars Together we light up the night You are the passion, I am the flame We are both one and the same I am the taker you are the chance This is the rule of romance I am the seeker you are the find Together we're two of a kind Two hearts one love Beating together I am yours you are mine Two hearts one love Always forever Standing the test of time I can be happy, you can be sad Together, things aren't so bad You are the sailor I am the sea A treasure of eternity Two hearts one love Beating together I am yours, you are mine Two hearts one love Always forever Standing the test of time Here we are the two of us Nothing in our way Wanting you, wanting me Everyday Two hearts one love Beating together I am yours, you are mine Two hearts one love Always forever Standing the test of time You are the passion, I am the flame We are both one and the same Two hearts one love Beating together I am yours, you are mine Two hearts one love Always forever Standing the test of time Two hearts one love Beating together I am yours you are mine

I think this song means . I believe this song expresses feelings of disappointment as things haven't gone as expected ,and lately we haven't been in sync . I can't stop thinking about you , and I need a change of environment , something different from my usual routine . No one embraces me like you do , but recently it feels like you're holding me back . I need to let you know that you have to let me go to find my own path . I have to regain my sense of self , and I think exploring new places and spending some time alone would benefit me . Even when I'm apart from you , you'll still be on my mind . I have to look beyond and the challenges we've faced together . Nothing has ever ever been as difficult as this , and no one has ever been as close to me as you were . Its impossible to simply forget you , and I can't just will my feelings for you away . I think its to seek out some new experiences and faces ,some time on my own certainly help . Even without you , you'll still occupy my thoughts as I push myself to look beyond our connection . Beyond

Yet another casualty of the music business. Talented, great songs, but not singing the lady role they want. She uses her voice the way she chooses. Sometimes men have been able to burst out of that commercial bubble and show the world that we DO want unique artists (Bob Dylan for example). Seems it's even tougher for the women to pull it off. Not that it's easy for the men. You would have thought that John Peel's over the top response to this woman would have been MORE than enough. What a shame that the world knows all these pop charlatans but have not heard this wonderful talent.

If you know that country, it's an especially evocative song. Though, one pick, I don't know anyone who pronounces "Chowchilla" "chowcheeya." The word is Yokuts, not Spanish, and they don't pronounce it that way.
