The bridge design is ingenious. My favorite parlor guitar, a Recording King dirty 30, has started the bridge tilt. The bridge design has no room for the screw on a bridge doctor, and the sound hole is too small for my arm to fit anyway.

Yes it is, the Alvarez and Yairi brands offer some really nice parlor guitars. I am happy to recommend some models if you are interested. You can repair your lifting bridge, usually about $150 repair, may or may not be worth it. Kepp your guitar away from dry heat and pick up a humidifier for your guitar. Please let me know if you have any questions.

@ The guitar cost me $130, and it’s left handed. I am a luthier, but as I stated I have large arms and the Recording King has a small sound hole. I am aware that I could install the vintage guitar bridge doctor that passes through the bridge pin holes rather than requiring drilling the bridge and placing a screw, but it’s more fuss and expense than I care to exert.

It is inaccurate to label this as a “best seller.” Hal•Leonard, a prominent publisher, has consistently exclusively published bestsellers for generations. This book is clearly a personal notebook, meticulously bound by the author. It is unreasonable to assume that the author has sold millions of copies and personally bound all 2 million copies. Such claims are deceptive and harmful to the public. It is essential to refrain from engaging in such practices that exploit the general public’s trust. After reviewing the book, I must express my dissatisfaction and decision to unsubscribe from this channel. The prevalence of amateur musicians on KZbin who purport to teach music is concerning. In contrast, the book falls short of expectations. It is poorly written and lacks a logical chapter structure. The numbering system employed is perplexing, with titles such as “Book A” and “Book 2.” The series of books appears to serve as a showcase for the author’s knowledge rather than establishing a comprehensive curriculum for students. Furthermore, the book lacks song examples and contains incorrect terminology. The presented exercises lack value. KZbin has become a platform that promotes “instant gratification” learning. However, music students require a more comprehensive approach than the title “Master guitar faster!” suggests. The title itself is problematic. A more appropriate title would be “Master THE guitar faster.” It is inappropriate for humans to communicate and write in a primitive manner in the 21st century. The inclusion of the line “Perfect for students and teachers” is also questionable. No educated professional would consider using a poorly typed notebook as their curriculum for their students.

Many have designed their own music method books. This is great. Take this draft to an editor for best results. With grammatical correction, better organization, professional illustrations, and explanations of music theory, you’ll boost sales and even qualify for publishing. For students, mastering a scale entails learning the five to twelve tones within that scale and practicing them repeatedly. This can be accomplished effortlessly through a simple Google or KZbin search and practice. Discipline is important. Examples of songs serve as an effective method for individuals to acquire proficiency in playing chords and scales. Are there any song examples to accompany these lessons?

Tuning an instrument is not a secret; it is the initial lesson in learning to play. No student can effectively practice on an instrument that is not in tune. Methods for tuning the guitar include: • Utilizing a guitar tuner is a practical method for ensuring the accuracy of pitch. The market offers a diverse range of tuners, including standalone devices, clip-on versions, complimentary applications, and integrated tuners commonly found on acoustic-electric guitars and contemporary digital amplifiers. • Relative tuning, as demonstrated in the video. • Adjusting the pitch to match the pitch of another tuned instrument, such as a second guitar, piano, or another string instrument.

To ensure clarity and avoid confusion, it is advisable to create a comprehensive primer book before proceeding. Seek the assistance of an editor to provide concise descriptions and step-by-step instructions. Clarity is paramount for serious learners.

These are correctly referred to as triad chord inversions. There are three inversions: root position, first inversion, and second inversion.

Yup, I've used triads as a 2nd guitar parts, to insert chords within lead parts and more. As both a Ukulele and Guitar player. I found it easy to use my ukulele chord shapes for triads in my guitar playing. Knowing all the notes on your guitar and ukulele fretboards opens up a whole world of chord/triad positions.

This advanced lesson is designed for elementary-level players. Prior to mastering the scales, I recommend dedicating time to studying and internalizing them. While memorization and mechanical playing, as demonstrated in the video, are valuable exercises, they alone will not facilitate their musical application or correct execution.

There is no such thing as a dominant 7th triad. This is a good lesson, but the information is incorrect. Insanity means exhibiting or being afflicted with mental derangement. Einstein famously said, “Insanity is doing the same thing repeatedly and expecting different outcomes.” Misusing it is both ignorant and highly offensive. Educators should strive for personal growth by acknowledging and learning from their mistakes. Repeating the same incorrect errors repeatedly is undoubtedly irrational. "Insane" might be the correct term in this case.

Thank you so much for you comment, There is a hierarchy of notes in each chord. The root is sometimes the least important, and then the 5th in many cases, especially if you are playing with other musicians, because they might be playing the root or 5th. By lowering (removing) the root a whole step you get to the flat 7 , so you wind up with a rootless chord, spelled 3, 5 b7. Great little chord, but you could always call it something else. Thank you for watching

I have the Element in swift blue which lately I'm finding myself less and less willing to even take out of the case and see that Papa Smurf staring back at me. Quite frankly I'm baffled by the color selection across the entire range. The flash green is atrocious. The hot merlot is not a true red. The best color is the black. The best color in the Element is the Red Copper, and it's not offered in the US. It is offered in the UK, EU, and Japan. We get the swift blue instead. It's a great guitar, but that whole thing about "I'll just get used to the color" doesn't seem to be true.
