Is the PlayStation Portal worth it? Sure. If you have $200, a stable and fast internet connection and understand that the Portal is just an accessory and not a true handheld gaming console. Is it necessary? Not at all. And that’s not a slight to the device. Just don’t want anybody thinkin they need this device to keep up with anyone else. If you don’t have that money around, don’t even sweat it. We Gotchu 😎👍🏾

is it perfect no is there devices that does it better absolutely all in all at 200 bucks you can't beat it there's a noticeable lag but yet the games are still playable and with the update making you able to take it on the go even further boost its value i say if your a person that's always on the move this is an excellent option if your a home body i don't think you will benefit from it as much

It works for me, but I'm someone who's never gonna take the portal to Starbucks or something like that. I mainly use it because most of my work is done sitting at computer so when it's time to relax I just wanna lay in bed and play my backlog. Because of that, I'm more direct to my Wifi and the experience is actually very serviceable.

So I actually just found out the PS Portal received an update that lets you connect to Public Wifi without the web browser. Another W for Sony 🤙🏾

@@jasonwright9405 well PS vita is a standalone device. OLED would make sense if the PS Portal was a true handheld console. Its not. It’s an accessory that honestly shouldn’t go beyond the $200 mark that they set. If it were OLED it would cost even more and that wouldn’t be cost effective for an accessory

Not gonna lie, I just got it and it has its up and downs, but it does what is intended.. Mobile hot spot works pretty good 👍🏼

Eu nunca entendi tanta crítica ao PS Portal. Comprei e eu achei excelente. Faz muito bem o que ele se propõe, existem pessoas que gostariam que ele fosse um portátil standalone, mas a Sony numca o vendeu como sendo isso. Paguei um preço que considero muito justo pelo produto, tela e etc...Adorei! Funciona super bem. A construção, tela e botões são ótimos!
