Mandarin is the country’s standardize spoken language and all schools in the country are taught in that language. The 56 ethnic minorities are encouraged to learn to speak and embrace their culture and traditions. The reasoning behind a standardized language is to benefit those applying for college and/or planning to go into business.
@TobysTakeaway6 күн бұрын
Makes sense and as I said in the video it has been a crucial part of China’s development (mandarin being widely spoken across the country) I just think local dialects and languages are also important and I hope they are not lost.

There was a travelogue channel on KZbin, one of the very first ones, called "TravelLight". (You can search for her on KZbin.) The girl had backpacked and traveled to about a hundred countries. One of her favorite or her most favorite countries was actually China, which she had kept going back and visited multiple times. She also joined some Chinese social video websites and had a lot of fans in China. During one of her last trips in China, she made a video to announce that her next destination would be India. All her fans (including Chinese fans from Chinese sites) told her: "Don't go to India by yourself! You will be assaulted!" However, she would not listen. Well... it happened. After the assault, she disappeared from KZbin. When she finally reappeared and posted a new video, she explained what happened to her in India. To add insult to her injuries: because she had previously praised China as the best and safest countries she had visited, and then she posted a video about her assault and horrible experience in India, KZbin -- which was overrun by petty Indian and H1-B employees and engineers, and we all know how jealous and obsessed Indians are of China -- removed her video and banned her channel for her confession, for defaming India and posting hateful contents. She had to fight KZbin to get her channel reinstated... but KZbin continued to demonetize all her videos. And then she joined OnlyFans for money... (which perhaps she should not have, because then all the Indian guys could say, "see, look at what kind of woman she is, she prolly asked for it in India.") So, women should stay away from and out of India, because if you get assaulted, Indian men would blame the women and cancel/censor the women instead of reflecting on their own cultural and societal epidemic. Indian men do not want to hear about it and deny it, which is why the problem will never be confronted or fixed.

silly question 🤔 if the school classes in North Ireland and Scotland are not in English, will you ask such questions to auditants? please think about the US and Canada, not all English in class, allow Spanish and French as a first language. 🤣 what a double standard thinking🙃
@TobysTakeaway9 күн бұрын
It’s not really a silly question. And it’s the same standard not a double standard.If you watched the whole video you will see that I praised the used of Mandarin and it being taught/used throughout the country. But local languages and dialects are also important. From Cantonese to Shanghainese and the Uyghur language plus many many more. There are plenty of children who for whatever reason can’t speak those languages. There are schools in the UK, Wales is a good example, where local languages are taught. It’s much easier to maintain local languages and customs rather than to revive them.

I am curious about the cotton field forced labor the Western Media led by the U.S. has been talking about. Where is the forced labor? I think the Western Media referred to the cotton field machine operator as forced labor. Oh ya, because they forced the machine to work to hard.

Some other sources one can read about Xinjiang are TRT World's “'Eating suhoor in the dark': Ramadan for Uighurs, a month of struggle” and Al Jazeera's “China targets friendly media, diplomats to ‘tell story of Xinjiang’”.
Xinjiang is open for visitors, people can just go there freely and see find out the truth. However the western media daily scare people not to visit.
