I am a happy VF8 Plus owner since March 18, 2023, with more than 34k miles driven, including many road-trips even in extreme heat over Death Valley to Las Vegas, and on light snow over Nevada Sierra Mountains.

You can slow it down yourself…I know I have to do that so often….tap your screen, see the little flower thingy below on the right, just below the timing line? Tap that, see where it reads:“Playback speed” ? Tap that, adjust your speed to .75 (%) or slower, 50…and you’re good to go, relax and view any video slower! 🤗

Just a few thoughts for you as you continue to compare Blazer EV and Equinox EV. I did the same comparison. I’ll hold off for now on identifying what I chose. They use the same battery (85 kWh) and the same electric motors, so driving should be similar with a little more weight on the larger Blazer. On the Equinox, the blue interior highlights are only on the LT trims. The RS trims have red. Both have ambient lighting where you can choose your color preference. Sunroof is an available option on both Equinox and Blazer. The Blazer you drove had it, the Equinox did not, but it’s available on both. The instrument panels and center screens are identical on all trims of both Equinox and Blazer. The instrument panel allows you to choose from (5) views through a button on your steering wheel. Really cool feature. Both have a hands-free tailgate. You have to turn it on in the settings, but if you stand behind it with your key in your pocket or purse it will start to beep. After the 4th beep the tailgate opens. Awesome feature when your hands are occupied. If you don’t want it to open just step away before it gets to the 4th beep. Both Equinox and Blazer are available with SuperCruise. I won’t go into detail. A quick Google or KZbin search will provide more than enough information on that feature. Unlike a lot of EVs, both Equinox and Blazer have switch controls for the HVAC and a knob for audio system volume so that you don’t have to search through menus to make adjustments. You should really try adjusting the one-pedal driving settings to determine what works (or doesn’t) for you. We happen to also have a Tesla in our household. All things considered, our Chevrolet EV does car things better than the Tesla. The Tesla does EV things better than the Chevrolet EXCEPT that the range estimates on the Chevrolet EV are much more accurate than the Tesla and it is slightly more energy efficient than the Tesla. Some of that is because the Tesla has stupid quick acceleration and driving it aggressively (who, me?) does draw more energy. Good luck on your car shopping. Be sure to tell the channel what you decided. Then I’ll reply with which Chevrolet EV we went with and why. Spoiler alert, both are great choices.

Exactly! The straight-six engine actually has some great benefits, like smoother performance. It’s different from a V6, but it’s perfect for what the Grenadier is built to do. Thanks for watching!
