What are your thoughts on copper patinas? How will it look versus green/cyan anodizing, and how does it compare in terms of wear?

Not for a long time if at all. I want to eventually have a slim model though

At last…love the longer barrel length too! Will the bold 1.0 mm refill fit? Also any Thiunderstorm versions planned?
@billetspin83262 ай бұрын
I don't have that refill but I would assume all Pilot G2 refills would fit especially if they are interchangeable with other pens. No titanium versions for a long time as I have no titanium material.

I do have a question about some of your older tops. I know you said once they sell out that's it. Would you ever do a special drop of some older tops like K2 or Maelstrom for instance? Maybe for people who may have missed out?
@billetspin83263 ай бұрын
Unfortunately those are long gone. Programs erased. I will still make a few new designs here and there but mostly focused on pens and knives

Thats the cost of it and thats it. People have different priorities. I just dropped a few hundred on some tops and felt like it was an absolute bargain whereas I wont pay anything for something like netflix or restaurants etc or whatever as I dont see value in that

Thanks for the updates! Loving my gen 2 soul mech. People will always complain about upper tier pricing in any area (cars, computers, anything). In machined pens, the cost goes to materials (titanium, zirconium, etc.) and the time and effort from a maker to produce a small batch high quality product. Don't forget in- house mech designs, then mix that with the milling and tolerances needed, then anodizing, and that's where the cost goes. As far as BilletSpin, I think their pricing is right in-line with other high quality machined pens. Keep up the good work Rich!

Do ceramic or tungsten carbide tips ever wear out and can they be replaced? My autistic son got me into tops and he will have them going all day. I am glad you offer the more expensive art top as it only helps the hobby. The simple tops are beautiful as well and the eon is one of our favorites with the long spin times.

@03Mach1-zv6im8 ай бұрын
It’s hard to match a Voltage from a Chip Chart (or part) that you didn’t run. The size and type of cathode, the part prep, along with many other things will affect your outcome. That looked highly polished. If I were trying to match it I’d start in the low 70’s and walk it up until I was happy.
