This is capitalism baby! Also if they lower the threshold to 7 dollars, the only thing that it's going to do is inflate prices and make everyone barring a handful of billionaires with companies in this space unhappy. Not one thing stated in this video seemed evil to me.

I made a few purchases on temu and learned my lesson. I ordered a ice maker and it was on sell for $55 after taxes $60. When I checked the tracking I noticed it was coming from Amazon. A quick search I discovered the item was on sell for $33. When I contacted Amazon and gave them the tracking number, they could not find anything on the purchase even though Amazon was delivering it

Us European Truckers we can have more power in our engine than the US with a 780bhp Volvo V6 and a 770bhp V8 Scania. Maximum Height of a UK Bridge is 5m aka 16.5ft tall

Simplate answer to this title; Roads. Also, i wish we had those flat face trucks here in USA, there would be soooo many less parked cars destroyed..
@hawkdsl

That's not the reason parked cars are destroyed. If the driver is low skilled, it wouldn't matter what type of truck he had.

Just a little note on the safety thing, yes EU lorries don't have much of a crumple zone, but the cabin is designed to fall off the frame to reduce impact damage. Besides, cabovers have much better visibility which makes them safer in that regard. We also have advanced emergency braking, lowering the chance for collision at all. EU lorries don't serve the living comfort US lorries do, but I've been told driving comfort of cabovers is much better.
@hawkdsl

I can tell you first hand that cabovers are the single worst riding trucks ever produced. They are called kidney killers for a reason. I don't know where you heard that from, but it is patently false. The Euro trucks are nice though, they are built for the little roads they have. US trucks are probably safer for the driver, but the accident rate is probably not compatible for a host of reasons.

You talking from a US point of view where 99.9% of US truck drivers have never left America. I can give both sides of the coin as I am familiar with both. The upside of US trucks large interior space of US brands, Downside not as refined from driving point for example noise and less driver refinement. The positive of European trucks is near silent interior noise and unrivalled refinement and engineering excellence. Downside less interior space. The only reason US brands have survived today is takeovers from European truck manufacturers, Mercedes benz freightliner, GMC/ volvo, Mack/ Renault now volvo International/ Scania/ now vw group. The opposite of Paccar they purchased DAF of Holland which enabled them to become a truck manufacturer rather than a truck builder as all US brands where till takeovers classed as kit trucks. The Last kit truck manufacturers died in early nineties in European, in US the death was slower. Kit truck makers like US truck relied on 3rd party companies to supply there products, of which slowed development to a crawl. European truck manufacturers design a supply there own components. Drivelines, cabs ect ect, and tend to be Engineered to a higher standard as there products are sold worldwide, US brands were confined to North America only, which exception of Mexico where both were sold side by side. Flags don't get the job done, people do.

India is also building a dam on this river. China can harness only 18% of the river as most of water is added into brahmaputra inside India (arunachal pradesh).

India is no match for China in any sense and China does what it wants without any challenge from India. I am just stating the existing reality. Therefore constructing a big dam near the Arunachal border is no big issue for China.Indian has not even registered formal objection or protest.

lol.... 1,5k subs, 300 views and 0 comments? --- nice new Chinese propaganda channel... Basically you can invert everything (nearly) said in this video by 180°... no fear... the Chinese military is still a paper tiger with some ambitions... due to the chip restrictions, china (thanks CCP) will fall behind more and more.. the problem is in the system... no one likes to get his best in an oppressive environment, where your ideas can simply be taken away by some politician...

They are not stranded, and it is just being tabloid media to keep saying this. Obviously there are issues but at this point NASA says they could use starliner to return today. That is not stranded. Further, there is provision for them to stay on the space station for quite a long time if required,

They should return in a different ship and the Starliner should come back empty. No point in risking human life.
@alexanderSydneyOz

That may be true but at this point remember NASA is saying there's no problem bringing starliner back with people in it. But the section of it which is developed the mechanical problems is also going to be destroyed in re-entry so they want as much data about that as possible. As I said that could be not entirely true, but it is certainly plausible and may be

Mentioned this while checking out at the grocery store, making conversation, saying I hope they figure it out soon. The cashier said I was "confusing real life with some movie" and said I "should be in a old people home being taken care of." I said she should put down her TicTok and read real news once in a while. She refused to finish ringing me up, saying I was insulting her. When the manager came over, and understood what was said and by whom and in what order, thanks to the two people in line behind me, she told the girl to close her register and check out in the office, and she'd join her in a few minutes. The manager took over, heavily discounted every item I had, apologized several times, and said she was likely going to let the girl go as this wasn't the first time she was mouthy with a customer. I pointed out the fact that the girl was entirely unaware that there are actually astronauts trapped on the ISS but was prominently displaying her button "Biden '24 / Trump for prison" was a political statement and shouldn't be worn while on the clock. The manager agreed, said it was another problem with the employee, along with her refusing to help anyone she considered 'a conservative' by looking at them. "I have to hire them, or I'll get in trouble for being prejudiced against them. I can tell by looks, but I can't ask anything of the sort. I just get stuck with them until they mess up enough I can get rid of them."
