Will suck when these go. The old landside terminal is planned to turn into a convention center. Hope they create a lookout without the trains in the tunnel as a piece of history, at least.

This was originally installed by AEG-Westinghouse & currently maintained by Alstom. Wonder why the red neon circle light wasn't on. I'm for sure gonna miss this thing.

Yeah I was thinking the same time when I was about to be done filming it. Oh yes I love Westinghouse. I wanted the red neon circle because it’s always nostalgic.

Normally US Elevators are not the best out there and are becoming harder to find, but this one actually runs quite well, especially with the dry power unit.

At my local mall, Coral Square (my official elevator in my profile picture) Kohl's has the only completely original passenger elevator (an International Elevator with Black Innovation Universal) because all the other three are modernized: first the former Sears' Montgomery Vector by Epco Survivor Plus in early 2013, then the Westinghouse at JCPenney by GAL JetPlus VPMC in mid-2019 and now the other Westinghouse - Macy's Men’s, Children & Home - by Schindler HXPress with MAD BS Moon in early 2023. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4Sbqnl9iLeFd6s

This is actually a 1965 Haughton. Schindler Haughton never modded this. This was only a slap-on mod for ADA compliance.

this residence inn is called hawthorn suites now and comfort inn is still comfort inn its next door and connected to the second floor of comfort inn. Comfort inn doesn't have an elevator. there are only four elevators in the entire building, 1 at hawthorn suites which is the former residence inn and one in splash lagoon and 2 in holiday inn express. the holiday inn express is connected to the splash lagoon lobby and the hawthorn is connected to the bottom floor at splash lagoon and first floor or hawthorn and comfort inn is connected to hawthorn suites from the second floor south wing to the staircase in hawthorn between floors 2nd and third floor and keep in mind the second floor at comfort inn is split meaning you have to take different stairs cases in comfort inn to get to each side of the second floor and the comfort inn talked about adding an elevator in but that was 2014 or 2015 and and years have gone by and it still didn't happen but if they add an elevator to comfort inn the the hotel will at least have two elevators, one for each wing of the second floor unless they connect them, and also if someone uses a wheelchair then they would have to go outside to get to the waterpark so they are false advertising when they say you are guaranteed not to go outside and using the walkway because people in wheelchairs can't and if they were they would have a good talent to do that. splash lagoon is connected to three hotels, holiday inn express, hawthorn suites, And comfort inn and suites. splash lagoon is also connected to hooch inn blotto's which will be turned into a quaker steak and lube on Friday, hooch and blotto's closed yesterday and they are turning it into a quaker steak and lube.
