What happens if I just finished my heel turn and instead of 18 stitches I have 20, and my needles are facing the opposite direction as yours and I ended on the wrong side with purl instead of knit.

I enjoy these posts about using up scraps. I’d love to see one on how to store and catalog those bits and pieces we want to hang on to for repairs and such.

Thank you! Just about to finish my first sock! Your videos were so helpful and I so appreciated your attention to detail as so many other knitting tutorials are too fast and assume that the viewer knows certain things. You left no stone unturned and it gave me the confidence to attempt this project as a beginner knitter!

A little late watching this, but so enjoyed it! So good to see you both together! I have had fun with The Garden Washcloth too. I agree that Emily must be a loose crocheter. I went up a hook size and still had to add a round to get 8” with worsted weight yarn. Easy to do, though. A lovely simple pattern and I like that there are no holes. My other favorite crochet dishcloth uses linen stitch. I started the Scrappy Bias Shawl but haven’t gotten far - too many projects on the needles! I’ll get back to it soon.

Hi Debra, I was thinking this morning about the little dishes. You are looking for to put the face wash cloths in. I looked on Amazon under candy dish and they have some. The company Choold luxury, colorful apothecary dish. It’s gorgeous. Looks like a carnival glass candy dish. There were some others too, but they have rounded bottoms. Socosy royal embossed candy dish. It’s also in the iridescent carnival glass look. I think one is 17 and one is 12 but they have lots of different colors available. I’m thinking about using your idea and making my daughters some face cloths Super appreciate the idea.

So excited to see you guys together again. I found your channel 3 years ago and used your sock tutorial to learn how to make socks. My oven 2 years ago tried to kill me it lol it shot electricity through a copper pot and tried to get me. It is now in the garage waiting for us to take it away. Subscribed and commented on both channels

I have 7 grands, aged 19 years down to 18 months! 4 of them live just a few miles from me. I was present with the birth of the 4 local ones, and would not trade that experience for anything! Congratulations on joining the Grandma Club!

What an absolute joy to spend 90 minutes with you both (together!). I was hand-stitching on a quilt, but you have both given me the urge to get some more projects on the knitting needles too! Congratulations (again) to you both on Grandma-dom - what lucky children to have such fabulous Grandmas.
