Looks like a perfectly ordinary common toad. Leave him be and he’ll eat the creep crawlies that menace your garden. And don’t let pets or kids play with him, the fat things behind his eyes are poison glands. It’s not terribly strong and won’t kill but it could make them a little sick, particularly if they’re small.
