all of these are made overseas no US transformer companies left anymore.. good for the nations getting power... this is a BUR project ive worked on a lot of them..what people dont realize is the Navajo Nation still has over 100000 people without power..while our government is worried about other crap...

Why are they always moving this type load in a remote secluded area?

Because the power company doesn't put little baby transformers like that in the middle of the city......

Wonder what the actually pressure is on each tire. Also when it goes over uneven terrain. Seeing those huge overloaded dump trucks just standing on the rear duals, I get amazed about how much weight a tire can carry without getting hugely damaged.

the chevy with the screamin green demon would make a neat goin to town rig, i bet that motor is in good shape, just make sure all the injectors are free an the rack is as smooth as butter an oiled before you touch the starter, that mansville jersey rescue rig is beautiful i think ive seen that truck before at some point, i grew up in central jersey an have been to every part of it though the years.
why do people want to video a train? Im not knocking it, to each his own but what is the appeal? is it who can spot the longest? or is it the same thing as why some people like taking pictures of cars? "just because" haha. have a good day m'friend!

I would've thought that the Detroit in that truck was strong enough to wave those rain caps at least one of the three times the fuel was put to her...not sounding right

Sounds like a 653 GM maybe ? I'm in Australia...we've always had lotsa' KW's/ Mack here. Had a few Rio tippers but not many prime movers. Dig seeing these ol' rigs ; but really the general appearance of a cab over modern Kenworth isn't too dissimilar to this beautiful truck.

@@andrewking4885 ; hi Andrew...thanks for ya' post..I'm from Melbourne; can remember a few Diamond Rio's here - as I wrote previously- as tippers in the 70's when yours truely was but a child (of a truck driver). Uncle has possibly the largest private truck collection in the nation with some 70+ prime movers, $600k shed to house 'em !! But not sure he has any Rio's (got a '70 cab over White...pretty rare). I'm a fan of Road Boss/ Commanders too...they built 'em in Qld huh ?
