Most of these tweaks seem pretty obvious - are they really not already present in mvapich or openmpi?

Found this hoping to learn more. Learned that the presenter didn't present anything. To future viewers, this video is useless, you will learn nothing. There's better videos by InsideHPCReport

Thanks for this video! I’m curious: in a regular, distro-provided Linux kernel, which components usually create the worst noise? Cheers!

The speaker's accent is so thick that I really can't understand what he's saying. I turned on Closed Captions and noticed that even Google transcript can't pick up what he's saying to generate a transcript. Please, edit the transcript so that we can all benefit from the content of the video. In the future, consider hiring voice over talent. I wish you all the best in the future!

Hello, my name is Michael a MSc student at United States international university. I am trying to setup up a HPC as a graduate research project but I am having issues with the configuration. 1. Funds for my project aren't much so I am only using 1GbE instead of infiniband 2. The clusters are running on a windows 10 hyper V so I have set up 2 virtual switches(1for the internal COMM between the head node and the compute nodes and another for external communication. 3. Loaded pfSense to handle routing of traffic so that the ipaddress of the head node doesn't keep changing when I move from lab to lab. 4. My head node has 2 nic cards eth0 for external traffic and eth1 for cluster traffic my eth0 works perfectly but I keep getting errors when I try to point openHPC to eth1. 5. I am using freeNAS for the storage system. The base os is centOS 7.1. So basically my setup has 5 machines on hyper V. Any assistance give would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
