What has been your experience with tift85? Yield per acre? Can you tell me, where did you get your sprigs?
@southernpoultryfarmer3951Ай бұрын
@daveydod I got my sprigs from a wholesaler, and now I just dig mine up to replant elsewhere. I get 10-11 rolls per acre per year with heavy fertilizer.

@@southernpoultryfarmer3951 What's your yield per acre for hay? I'm trying to decide between tift85 and Cherokee 2. I think tift85 would be better but Cherokee 2 is easier to plant because it's seed.

Now currently I believe they are currently only distributed in canada but you should really check out the hopper switch that Waymore sells its is relatively not a very well known switch but it uses magnetic forces to keep the switch completely separated from the environments and after using it for about 4 years now I have NEVER had to adjust, change or repair one since changing to Waymore. just some food for thought .

in regards to those corrugated migration pipes behind you, do you have trouble with them filling up with litter? Making them heavy to move etc. We have the triangle wire fences and are looking to swap over to the corrugated plastic. Thanks for the videos!
@southernpoultryfarmer3951 Жыл бұрын
They don't fill with litter unless you drag the opening on the ground. I usually pull it by the opening so it doesn't drag. If they aren't put together all the way then you can get a chicken or two in there and you'll have to work them out.
