That’s a fun way to play the game! I will try that! ( also subbed underrated channel)

Thank you! Some of them can be really hard to find, I've only seen the cheetah twice for example.

thanks for such a detailed insight on the helicopter functionality. So it seems not possible at this stage to have more than 1 rescue mission so one cannot actually train those type of mission to improve skills? And, you probably cannot generate a sling load or rescue mission by yourself after you made ypur "license"? That both is disappointing after the promising videos MS sent out prior to release. I would expect to be able to train missions again and again in such fantastic scenery. Thats what IRL pilots do. Over and over agin. The technology seems to be there, but is it simply not "allowed"? very strange concept... However - after all what is your impression of the h125 flight model?become
@Malic_VRАй бұрын
Seems as I have progressed and unlock more specializations and areas around the planet, the different types seem to spawn a lot more now. When I first started, I did the two available, and then that was it for 24 hours, now I have like 8 at any one time, and when it is competed, a new one replaces it. Sr fay the H125 feels good, except in an autorotation, which all of them suffer with. there is also the helicopter ground effect bug that effects them all, not just the H125 right now. If you want to vote on that one, check here: forums.flightsimulator.com/t/helicopters-jump-in-and-out-of-ground-effect-when-near-raised-platforms-the-cfd-is-not-calculating-the-drop/673723

What headset are you using? Are you happy with performance??
@Malic_VRАй бұрын
I am using a Meta Quest 3 with a bunch of 3D printed parts to use a Vive Deluxe Audio Strap for the back half. I am connected wireless though Steam VR, and because it is the PC doing most of the work. My computer was a beast when I built it, and it can still push out some pixels today. AMD RYZEN 7 7800X3D ASUS PRIME X670E-PRO Motherboard G.Skill Flare X5 Series 64GB DDR5 Memory 2x SAMSUNG 990 PRO SSD 2TB MSI RTX4090 Because of flying low and slow 99% of the time, I have been enjoying the added detail in that surface to 1000 range that most people only see on landing and takeoff in an airliner. Having trees that match their physical shape helps a ton when doing close quarters flight with rotors spinning Your mileage may vary

what are you running 4090?
@Malic_VRАй бұрын
Yes, running a 4090, I tried to experiment using virtual desktop today and the FPS was even better, I just need to figure out some way to get chat into the VR space with me next to take advantage of the higher frame rates

I do need to get back into some MSFS, might have to set the cockpit up again soon. I do try to run using real time of day, so whatever would be morning in the UK right now, which is super early morning in the US

Pretty impressive, how did you get the VR happening in SC? - is it monocular or binocular?
@Malic_VR7 ай бұрын
It uses VorpX, and gives a 3D image. not as good as a pure VR game, but the SC devs are working on that, I am just using this in the meantime

cool isn't it hard to make a precise small movements with your hand or is it just me?
@Malic_VR Жыл бұрын
Not at all, these soft pentameter sensors are designed for CNC mills that can output thousands of a second precision movement. You can also, instead of forcing your finger to slide, just roll your finger slightly to either side for really fine tuning. I only recorded this short video to make sure that the two cameras focused on the subject, because the movement is instant, is super easy to slide your finger on the sensor to tune it. The only bits that looked like judder are simply me holding it near the connector base and the loose wires to just to show the concept. The sensor I am using is about 7.75 inches (20cm) but they also make larger and smaller versions as well, I got this length because for a concept it felt right, because I was worried about resolution as well, but I think I chose the perfect size to begin with after having it and being able to try it now.

Is it VR if your just looking at a flat 2d screen in VR?
@tonemtz2 жыл бұрын
If we consider that the 2d screen is real in virtual reality, not physically real, then yeah it is still VR just not 360 rendered.

We HAVE to make a Racing Scene in this Game ..Send Friend Requests in game everybody ! just say "Racing" and lets start it ! by the way... if we could find a way to set gates within asteroid fields we could also make awesome racetrack with quadcopter race feeling ! i tried it with a very drifty conda and and just kicks ass ... thrilling as hell !
@solunasunrise3 жыл бұрын
and now imagine there are gates everywhere , and some tightly packed so that they force you to use flight assist off for certain fast spinning, pitching and rolling combinations and such ... 2 years ago i had a short lived Quadcopter track building craze in a game called lift off ....problem is with quadcopter flying its extremly straining and demanding .. cant really do longer then 10 to 12 minutes because of the way you fly these things ... elite needs racing desperatly ... its like where all the framewor is already present and you just have to implent ... imagine what you could do as grandprix in game events with fireworks and spectators etc pppp .... with part of a track in hyperspace and so on + virtual gates in hyperspace ...
