Make your own - Graffiti Removal Solution - 1 cup KOH to 1 gallon of water + 1/2 to 3/4 oz of Sodium Polyacrylate Crystals depending on how thick you want the solution. Allow to dwell on graffiti, agitate and rinse with pressure washer - repeat if necessary.

Another good vid. I could debate you about who goes NUKE and who doesn't. Iny experience the Guy working out of the back of the truck (or one man show with a part time help) is not the one who is the bigger offender. Most of the time it is bigger company's. They send a crew in and the crew is there a couple hours. These guys are in a hurry they need to get to the next job. Mistakes happen when you rush. Also a lot of these guys charge a premium and they don't rinse. Some might rinse like a 2 or 3 foot section. A lot of them don't use covers on expensive plants or nothing on the down spouts. I did a vid about the splash and dash guys. On the house I did it me 12 hours to do, they had TONS of plants right up on the house and all over and a big screened in patio that needed to be protected due to fine wood and furnishing inside it. The other hose done but the dashers also had tons of plants around it. The price for both of us were within a 150 dollars of each other (me being a little more expensive) At the end of the job. I had one plant dead. They had 10 or twelve. Which I found out later, because my friend landscapers that house. I bid on the job but the owner went with the lower price he said I could not do the rinse and lower my price, I said NO. And in addition I threw in a free driveway cleaning they threw in nothing. So do all big companies have this problem? Of course not. However like I said I see it alot more with larger companies. Just because a guy works out of his truck does not mean he is a billy bob or that he is stupid or is not professional and know what he is doing. Personally if I'm looking for a bid for someone to do work for me, and they use derogatory language about their competitors, that is a BIG red flag... just a tip for those starting off on how to talk to a customer. Again... just my 2 cents ..

I will work on gutters with guards. How ever before I give a quote the first thing I do is ask so you have gutter guards? Sexing thing I ask is " is there anything growing in your gutters". I do very few quotes online or over the phone. I like to see what I'm quoting on. With that said, if I do get there and the customer lied then we change the price or I just don't do the job. Period Also I don't have a per door charge. For me that just won't work and opens up the door for the situation you found yourself in. Also I also make sure that they realize that they are paying to clean the INSIDE of their gutters... while I'm there would they like the outside cleaned? Aka: brightened.... And for the new people.... if your just blowing out gutters with a blower, don't forget it will take you some time to clean up the mess you make on the ground below, and if the gutter has dirty water to rinse that off the outside of the gutters, windows, siding etc ...

Like your vids. Your doing some real good stuff here for newbies... This is good info but...... Some things to consider. Yard signs really depend on the area your in. In my area they don't work well, I've put out 500. Year for two years and got only a couple of calls. On addition they are taken down by competitors, the town/city if they don't like them and sometimes home owners or associations because they just don't like them... my advice is research a little before buying a ton of them. Face book is ok. But you have to spend a lot of time updating the situation, and that's ok when your new and have time, but also you have to promote the site because basically no one knows you. Also face book reviews so not show up on Google they don't play well together. Google is ok but can become a night mare. First off it has the same issues as FB Secondly once you are on Google every salesman and his brother will be hounding you day and night... Angie's list, home advisor yelp etc., are relentless. The worst thing is if your account gets suspended. Mine got suspended 3 weeks ago. I changed my business name because I no longer do plumbing or drain cleaning (old dude scaling down) because PW is way easier and cleaner. So Now all my photos- gone. Reviews- gone. Business listing in the map section Gone. All reference to my Google vids and pictures when doing a search gone. The only way to find my business is to type in the complete website. Now it will show up on a search if you type in the name exactly but it will be on like page 10... all that previous SEO work over decades gone. Good thing is I have a customer base. I can also pay to do ads on Google if I choose to and just leap frog over everyone... Also not a problem paying people to do SEO or your Web site as long as YOU control and own your website and domain name. Otherwise if you pay some one and they build it and host it for you, basically your screwed when you decide not to use them anymore.

Just want to say good job dude for not completely writing off yard signs just because your first experience was negative
