today the boat needs big work again and the main problem is that eric is in jail in ste lucia since 17 months for a stupid story waiting for a freedom court decision. we are also in ste lucia to visit our friend and to take care of the boat maintained engines and maybe move the boat . The oil pressure engine brand " samova" is blocked and need a head engine gasket is it possible to get one in holland?? i send you other picture later

did you see the movie we made 2 years ago of protinus go and write "protinus bateau exceptionel" on youtube. we met eric and protinus in the pacific the first time and in caraibe sea the seond time. He bought the boat 20 years ago rebuilt all and change parts, put masts in holland and sailed around the world alone since.

Well mv Protinus IJM 154, official license number of fishing vessel, built in 1959 was my first vessel I joined before I started my carrier at sea. If any more details and pictures of present situation is available I appreciate to have some because I`m still in contact with the owner`s son, mr Frans Erenst. On picture nr 3 you can see they rebuilt her stern so fishing net can put overboard at stern instead of at starboard side. Regards Piet van Oosten
