How appropriate for a Presidential Inauguration, President Obama's no less. It's so uplifting to see so many faces of different colors, ethnicities singing together with smiles. May it come to pass in the entire world not just the US that this becomes a reality.❤

A legend leading his song the way he wrote rather than the way the public schools taught it, priceless. I grew up on folk music: Peter Seeger, The Kingston Trio, Peter Paul and Mary, and the rest. They sang the struggles of our nation!

The campus has an overpopulation of squirrels, so they are easy pickings for hawks trusting enough to cavort so close to humans. I've seen such Red-Shouldered Hawks lunching on squirrels on campus on 3 occasions.

The best night of my life was when Pete taught me how to play this song on his own guitar at the Cafe Lena in Saratoga Springs, New York. The love and gentleness he showed all he came in contact with , and his love of music and country and his strong faith we all can make a difference. made him a living saint to me. I miss you so much.

There was some much hope then, where has it all gone? The state of my nation, and it's decision in this recent election, makes me sad beyond words. How are these Americans made of most of the same people? Why have we given into hate and fear?

Thanks for posting this -- on the birthday Pete shared with my mother. This is a marvelous thing to share, and I will be showing it to my university environmental geography students this week, as I try to remember to do each semester. And I agree about KZbin -- ads on stuff they did not create! I even see ads on some of my own videos and wonder when I'm going to get that check!

I remember watching President Obama's inauguration and thinking that we elected our FDR. I was so happy. Obama's campaign slogan was "Change We Can Believe In". I bought it hook line and sinker. Unfortunately, Obama turned out to be a fraud that only served the upper class.

I was privileged to meet and know Pete and his wife to hi through the Clearwater Revival held on an old trash dump in Croton New York. They were the most open real individuals you would ever meet. What they said and how they interacted with all was honest and true.
