How a gut shot can be profitable to call there on the flop? You've got like what, 30% at most there? And actually, except backdoor flush you don't lose much equity at the turn. Honestly, I'd only call with open. Gutshot only with a flush draw there.

Chopping vs having a winner doesn’t net the site anymore money one way or the other. They really have absolutely no incentive to make a hand chop out unless you believe that the players splitting the money would make the site money in the long run…… but there’s no incentive in the moment

Every solver in the world has A5s as a 5-bet, it's the textbook hand to 3, 4, and 5-bet bluff with preflop in position, you play is essentially like Aces with its playability post-flop.

From my point of view, in that spot the villain has telegraphed his hand even if he is a fish. You make call to draw or lose almost every time and I doubt you get the odds. A very marginal spot or EV- avoidable?

yeah but hes betting pot, u gotta defend w about 60% of hands that get there, ur raising all ur sets sometimes 9x of diamonds, T8 is literally the strongest hand u get hetr with, especially as a bluff catcher blocking the T u just gotta fucking call otherwise u get cooked long term and bcm super exploitable

@@BradySie-wo6vf You don't have to always meet MDF. Its actually pretty bad to even try to on boards that are significantly better for you're opponents range. However, I do agree that in this case he's basically at the top of his range and still chops with value so he has to call.
