Breathtakingly stunning! All that that too on one layer? I really should try this. I personally love the painterly feel in this. Would want to incorporate in my own art. A question :: do you use a drawing tablet? If so which one? I am looking for good drawing tablet suggestions. Also not sure if you know but I’ve bern saving up for a while to be able to commission you (customs) ive saved 190$ as of now. Waiting for when your commissions will be open 🩵

Thank you so much!! <33 And for the most part, yes! Sometimes to make small adjustments I add a new layer and merge. And I highly recommend this sort of style, it's very relaxing honestly. <3 I do use a drawing tablet! I use the Wacom Cintiq 13 HD. I just did a review of the XP Pen Artist 12 2nd Gen, which is a screen tablet, and pretty affordable! There are also many non-screen tablet which are very affordable if you prefer those! <33 And AWWWSDFGH That means so much to me, thank you so much for your interest!! Hey there, absolutely love your style, keep up the great work <<3 I can see that with a small number of major colors you can create a beautiful yet not a simple and dull artwork and I am looking forward to finding out about your work flow and methods ( like strokes you use, how you pick colors, layer arrangement, yadda yadda ) Therefore it would be perfect if you can make us a speedpaint video with slower pace and add documentation for the steps. I am sure that I am not the only one who is hoping for a video like that. Anyway thats all I want to say, have a nice day <<3

Don’t use lines as the main basis, but use colors to stack them. Lines are just auxiliary. In this way, even if the whole thing goes wrong, modifications will be easy and fast. I feel like I'm relying too much on lines.
@LittleBlueMuffin27 күн бұрын
Bingo! Or at least, that's the way I enjoy most. I use the lines as a guideline, but use colors to "sculpt" so to speak. And that's ok to use linework! Many, many artists do actual linework instead of just the sketch. I personally do not enjoy doing lineart, so I took that step out.

You may want to consider getting a pop filter for your mic if you intend to keep doing narration - your current setup is very “wet” sounding which detracts from listening to what your saying :( the art is very cute though, and the rest of the video clean and professional feeling :3
@LittleBlueMuffinАй бұрын
I appreciate the feedback! I was hoping my mic was of decent enough quality to be recording with it, but it seems not. A friend told me I sounded great, but I guess it's still not up to par, haha. OTL I just use my headphone mic, which has a little pop filter on it but even I noticed it still picked up unwanted noise. Do you happen to have any recommendations on a good mic set up? (or anyone else who happens to read this) Preferably in the $100-$300 range? Thank you again for the feedback! <3
@deidaraart5Ай бұрын
@@LittleBlueMuffin IIR blue ice snowball mics are pretty dang decent at a low cost ($30<) - you might have to do some noise reduction editing if you don’t have a good sound isolation setup to record in, but it’ll definitely cut much more out by default! If you combine it with foam panels on the walls of the area you’re recording in, it’ll do even better :D you can prolly find a tutorial for a low-budget sound setup online for more info, and potentially better mics in your budget. Also look into voice actor tips for reducing “pops” while speaking. I’ve used Granny Smith apple slices to help with that (trained VA lmao) and I found it does help a lot! Tho some voices naturally have sharper S and P sounds than others so don’t stress too hard about that. Your current mic is defo totally fine for casual chatting but videos n such it’ll struggle, as shown. GL! I hope this info was useful, and that you’re able to find a setup that works with your budget! If nothing else just getting the snowball will upgrade you as a temporary measure until you can set up a more proper solution
@LittleBlueMuffin28 күн бұрын
@@deidaraart5 Thank you for the feedback, will look into it! <33 I don't think I'm looking to be a full-blown voice-driven YTber, this is more of a casual/hobby channel, so I don't think I'm willing to put up foam for this haha. But thank you regardless! Will also look into the plosives thing, it was worse until I stuck the mic far from my mouth haha OTL Good to know there are solutions for this! <3 Thank you again for all of the advice, will definitely look into at least upgrading my mic setup/find something that works for me! Again super appreciated!! <3
@deidaraart528 күн бұрын
@@LittleBlueMuffin yeah no worries at all! As I said at minimum the snowball mic, which is rly cheap budget wise, would upgrade things for you for the occasional times you end up doing voice overs :D not a huge investment which works for the hobby level, but enough of an upgrade so things still sound more professional! good luck! (Also thanks for reminding me the official term for plosives bc I’d forgotten LOL)
