I hated how Ellie treated Jake!

Here’s what I’ll say Jake was honestly being very annoying here. He was gullible enough to believe Ellie over Tom in the first place. Then he kept yammering on about it to Ellie. However Ellie did take it a little too far. I understand her being annoyed with Jake but she shouldn’t have mocked someone for being cheated on regardless of how annoying they are.

Ellie did make good points BUT no one deserves to be cheated on. That was uncalled for and just mean. Also, SHE was the main reason he and Tom fought because he trusted her as her friend. Of course Jake should have talked to Tom but Ellie did so much to stop that from happening so she has no moral highground here.

Seeing this, I realized that Ellie and Jake are both at fault. I don't hate any of them two, but if I had to choose who to side in this, I wouldn't choose anyone. Ellie did what she felt she had to do to move on with the game, despite knowing it hasn´t good. However, like she said, she never pretend to be a victim all the time like Jake. And more, although she did atrocious things just to stay in the competition, she didn't go as far like trying to kill someone, and this proves that she isn't without her honor. As for Jake, I totally understand that many things happen to him, but like Ellie said, he always acts dramatically as his life is worse than everyone else. Didn't you heard what he said to Ellie? "If you give this to me, MAYBE I'll forgive you." This only shows that despite everything, he's still acts and believes that he's a victim and only the others make mistakes. Even when Gabby saved Ellie using the immunity totem, he still accused her of sabotaging her team instead of understanding why she did that. Then again, I don´t hate him, because he's still a good-hearted person. This should be to all the people who judge and defend Jake and Ellie. Love or hate them, they both have their faults and they're not heroes or villains.

At the end of this scene, Jake looks like is gonna explode ! 🤯

I'm a Jake stan but yeah. He does have a tendency to play the victim, and use the victim card, "oh poor me, so let me win Ellie". Still I love this adorable twink. When he's not being a toxic damsel, he can be a really sweet guy.
