I remeber KISS st Luise 1976 Before the lights go out, this was playing on the overhead .... This druimming is the HEAVIEST drumming Charlie has ever done on any song in his 60 year carreer imo.

Well, girl there some songs that give advices & family oriented. You should hear, 1) "Living years" by Mike + The Mechanics. 2) "Papa" by Paul Anka. 3) "Father and Son" by Cat Steven. 4) "Everything I Own" by Bread. The Bread song a lot of people thought that it was a breakup song. But the song writer wrote it for his father who passed away.

There's an autobiography of John Fogerty. I really recommen looking into it. Mind blowing his life story. And he's still playing. Amazing artist there will never be another like him.

Great reaction - you should watch the movie "The War" starring Kevin Costner - it uses this song to great effect in making the point of war being destructive to all that matters in life

This was my favorite song the year I graduated high school--The album (his third) was released that year--I and my friends ate it up. Who knew it would still be loved some 50 years later? I mean we were just lucky.

If this song is all sex, it's all ROUGH sex!!! Two other songs come to mind regarding air play and suggestive lyrics that were never covered-up: "Lola" by The Kinks and "Walk on the Wild Side" by Lou Reed. Looks like you've already discovered Zepp's "The Lemon Song"!
