@@JustinBrehm hi Justin! So nice of you to check in on us. Editing and uploading videos got very hectic while still trying to enjoy our travels. But we are still vlogging everyday and have SO MUCH content to share. Give us a few more months and we’ll start posting new videos almost everyday. Thank you for your patience and being such a fan of our small channel!!

I don't know where did you go for your Hammam, but it's the worst place in the entire country if it was like that!!! there is a full experience before and after the Hammam experience. Before: 1- you enter a room with a welcoming drink 2- you get in a change room, where they explain for you all the steps, and the most important how you want your bath, in a gentle way, or a traditional way as local Moroccans (hardcore washing, and believe me, for the second option you will think that you were abused compared to the Turkish one) 3- room where you lie on a hot Marber lounge with Lavender steam to open all your bodies pores (no limited time, You get out when you feal that you are ready). The Hammam: 1- you get out from the steam room to get on a hot Marber lounge 2- You get your Hammam experience as you asked for 3- be covered with traditional Moroccan soap 4- full wash, then (extra) been fully covered by bath clay 5- be rinsed then we leave you for a little while in the heat (10 to 15 min not included in the 45min of the Hammam) 6- Final shower with soaping and head washing (face-hair) After: 1- lie down on a relaxer lounge with special music and lights (no limit time). 2- rest relaxing room with drinks (no limit time). 3- get in the cafeteria. 4- massage (extra) And about a couple in Hammam, it's a normal think in Morocco (married couple if Moroccan, no questions for foreigners), You get u're full Hammam including intime eras and it's you who ask for man or woman to get the jobe done!! the time in fancies Hammams (not the traditional ones where you can enjoy ur experience as many hours as you like) are 45 min for each only for the Hammam, the before and after are no limited time!!! YOU WHERE SCAMMED BRO!!! lol :)

U got it all wrong mate picking the spa hammam lol Ask ur host about the nearest tradi hammam for the locals ( it cost around 20dh ) it’s not mixed ! Then ask for one of the guys working in to do u the scrubbing and the other things (on ur way out tip him with anything btwn 50-100dh ) just like Gordon Ramsey did ( watch the video on KZbin ).

We thought having our Riad set it up for us was a good idea. If we go back to Morocco we’ll have to get a redemption hammam! We’re glad we got to experience a true hammam in Turkey, scrubbing and slapping and all lol

I believe that the koutoubia mosque is not the oldest mosque in Marrakech but rather the Ben Youssef mosque which was built during the almoravides reign.
@hunterandalisia7 ай бұрын
There are a handful of websites that claim Koutoubia to be the oldest? but I think you are right, it’s Ben Youssef Mosque. We are very sorry for the misinformation. That’s what we get for using the internet 🤦♂️

You guys just needed to go the outside of ryad - like the popular hammams in morocco to have the same experience than the locals . what you telling has nothing to do about a moroccan hammam .
@hunterandalisia7 ай бұрын
Yeah our Riad didn’t steer us in the right direction for a local experience. We’ll hopefully be back to Morocco for a redemption Hammam! Is there any you recommend?
@sfat3707 ай бұрын
This is so funny because there are at least thousands and thousands of local hammam all over Morocco , almost in every quarter every street you can find one , and you had to go to the only one that no moroccan go :d .. next time just walk in the street meet people and locals and ask them where they go usually and they will give you the address , just go by yourself with some changing clothes and soap shampoo ect ..@@hunterandalisia
@hunterandalisia7 ай бұрын
@@sfat370 hahaha it definitely seems like that. We thought it was a good idea to ask our Riad but I guess not. We appreciate the advice, thank you!

Hello As Moroccan .what you had it’s kind of spa hamam .the original hamam is totally different.the hotel did a mistake to book that for you . The original hamam you don’t need appointment .you just walk in .if you did ask for advice here in your channel a lot of Moroccans will do .i am sure so many of them watching you .i am not sure if you still have time there or what’s your plan but you can try again anywhere in Morocco i am from Marrakech but i live in USA for 21 years i am sure everything changed otherwise i give u a suggestion .but I saw a lot of visitors made videos in Moroccan hamam .good luck

Unfortunately we are no longer in Morocco, but that means we’ll just have to come back! Next time we’ll reach out for a recommendation. So many Moroccans have commented on our Marrakech videos, we appreciate the love and support so much.
