Weeds? What weeds are you combining? Or can combines harvest those, ahem, “weeds?”

Welfare farming at its best they want talk about how much money they draw off government money that comes from working people
@terrellfarms122 күн бұрын
They won't talk about it because it is public information. Just look it up, it's published data. All farms do it, so why should they be different.

What would cause one of these to explode? One caught fire yesterday on edge of town and it blew up twice. 1st one was pretty loud the 2nd one about a min after shook my homes windows almost 1mile away.

Couple elf pressurized water fire extinguishers and a 30lb dry powder extinguisher would stop the problem really quickly. Lot cheaper than buying anew combine.

Maybe if enough combines are lost to fire they'll start carrying water and fire extinguishers when they're harvesting. How about a dedicated fire truck for the farm. All it takes is a truck, a tank with a couple hundred gallons of water, a pump and a hose. Come on, get with the program.
@AmericanFarmerHVAC2024Ай бұрын
How stupid are you? These machines have one or two fire extinguisher locations. The fire was already too large to stop. You see the guy open the access panel. What do you think he was doing? Masturbating over it? No. He used his fire extinguisher!

Glad you pointed out that was an early 8270R. These were great tractors, as they were the last of the pre-DEF and pre-emissions tractors . They were basically left over 8030 series tractors but the horsepower was rated at the engine instead of the PTO. AND they sounded awesome compared to the newer 8000R and 8R series, which are loaded down with a lot of government mandated, horsepower robbing B.S

Terry THANK YOU, and Patrick Shivers in West Central Georgia Jim McArthur of Field Rows down in North Florida and Daniel Rhyne of Triple R Farms in Alabama for showing the rest of the world how we farm here in the southeast. I totally understand how you feel when you said it feels like you're spinning your wheels. That's the same way that we, as farmers, feel. The rest of the country thinks of farm subsidies and that we just hold our hands out and the government just hands us a friggin' blank check and we can just go buy brand new equipment and that we don't care whether we make a crop or not. But they never read the book from cover to cover.

I got burnt out man. Between work and home i didn't really have time to do the leg work for filming. KZbin was and is not kind to us small time channels anymore. They want to just promote the big channels because its money in their pockets. I will pick it back up either later this year or next spring.
@MarshallLanier-oi1mk9 ай бұрын
@@terrellfarms1 I totally understand. I don't see how some of these guys who farm actually have time for a KZbin channel, much less filming while they work. So many people have the idea that we don't really do much between the end of harvest and the start of planting. But between shop work, servicing equipment, and catching up on various paperwork, I really don't know the difference between one year and the next.
