I bought Dragon Age Veilguard but it's totally incomparable to BG3. I mean, every step of the way you get pointed toward a specific point in the game and the total map per scene so far is pretty small (one hour or so in, I'm just leaving the lighthouse). There's some options in dialogue but barely any choices. I can't speak for how much influence they have on the endings and probably not going to find out any time soon. That said, I'm 500+ hours into BG3 so I'm fairly colored by my experience ;)

6:41 You didn't get 'Lae'zel disapproves' from looting. If you are playing in balanced or higher difficulty, it is a bad idea to use 'Friends' in dialogue with companions. It is an enchantment spell and when the effect wears off it results in 10 points of disapproval with that companion. It does say the target might accuse you of enchanting them in it's tooltip.

yeah it's really best not to kill ur guardian at this point, ur chat didnt give good advice LOL but whats done is done - that's what more than 1 playthrough is for 😉 to make different choices next time

Shadowheart disapproved bc you used friends on her when rolling the dice. Friends is a charm spell, your pals don't like that ;) using it on other npc's might trigger a fight when the spell ends.

you can quicksave with F5 :)

You can add bouns before you roll the dice. Shadowheart has guidance :)

For me this is the most memorable episode, one that really stayed in my mind. Its also kinda hard to play, i feel like this and the final ep are the most taxing/difficult emotionally

you can explore by your own pressing a button, or you can go in pairs to avoid them activating traps or in this case to avoid your group to set on fire because of karlach. usually easier to get around exploring and looting

Please explore and perform quests to earn XP and thus level up.

I’m loving your story so far, but the urge to give you tips is strong! Do you think you’d ever want some advice? Some people want the full blind experience and others are up for tips to help them with little things. I was pretty much as confused as could be at first, but being obsessed with this game means I’ve put in a lot of hours, so there are a few small things that I think really helped me understand and figure out how to play better. I can already see a huge progress in how you’re clearly thinking about combat just during the gnoll fight I’m up to at this point that impresses me because you’re picking it up faster than I did.
