Using weight to send directions to your horse is something that is very challenging for me. Thanks for the short video.

I’m not sure I would tie a horse using a rope halter. I also think you should work with the horse and not tie him for hours alone. Where’s the teaching in that? Maybe after you work with them THEN you can tie the , but not straight off. Sorry don’t agree

Thank you for this. I just read a post that said the greatest gift we can give a horse is peace and when a horse does as we ask we give him peace. When he doesn’t we take it away. I was repulsed by that. We should always be a source of peace for them, especially when they’re struggling. Yes we can be firm, set boundaries, even escalate pressure if necessary - and still be a source of peace

Could I please get a full video on this? I’d love to have a better understanding of how to make my horse more comfortable. He gets real uneasy in the barn or any arena and just runs and it’s hard to get him to relax once his halters off!

What kinds of an idiot would think horses understand respect more importantly why do you think it should respect you in a straight up fist fight the horse would kill you,

I'm starting to ride my horses after maybe six years of them sitting in the pasture. The more I learn about what I'm doing, the more confident I feel. I have a big tall horse that I admit I have never cantered on. I hope I feel safe, I also have a smaller horse that I don't right now but he for me
