Iused to make these candles many years ago, but we put the tissue paper on, covered it with wax or parchment paper large enough to grip it from the back, & used a heat gun to melt the tissue paper with design into the candle. I've not done one with foil, because foiling wasn't a known technique back then, but i need to try this now. Not sure if heating it like i described would take the luster of the foil or not. Something else to experiment with. Your candle is beautiful!
