That is the carbon copy , of my late dog, we think he was Chihuahua Terrier, his ears were always up. He was very possessive of me. He weighed 15 lbs. He was 16 when we put him down, blind deaf and maybe senile. If curios there are lots of videos on my channel.

My shihtzu maltese breed has started growling at us idk whatvhappened he started getting mean when he turned a year old is it maybe a testosterone thing. Should I get him fixed? I don't plan on breeding just don't know what health issues it could cause

It's always advised to take any animals that you have that there moods have changed to the vet. Sometimes they need medicines because of their mental instability. If you ever have heard of a cat from hell there's been a couple of episodes about where this cat used to be very sweet and then all of a sudden became very hostile to everyone and came to find out that it had some mental disorder that only started showing up. To be safe I would take them to the vet to make sure that there's nothing mental going on with him and it may just be a hormonal thing but either way it's better safe than sorry

Maltese I've had a female they are called the lion because of their hunt instinct. They are manipulating and can be mean. Get a vet checkup. Then start telling the dog in a mean voice to behave, very smart dogs but amazingly cute.
