@@lesdeuxcoulibiacs the nmg rules state that to go through a space by using wcs, you must be able to go through that same section without the use of the glitch. This effectively means that we need cdash in order to be able to use wcs to go through some of the sections faster

@@hywell_ thats pretty hard to do. First of all, currently its as simple as converting to mp4 and uploading to yt. Also, id have to crop perspectives so that they fit together which implies id have to edit it. What i can do i post how much time i saved

@@balderdasch4078 no, to be able to use wcs the rules state that you must be able to move trough that room in that same way withiut using the glitch. So basically you can't do sequence breaks usign wcs

trust me, its not that fast at all if you take into consideration that i know very well what im looking for. I have a ton of experience with this segment and dont need to do as much crazy strat testing as the first time

@@NinjaIOAverage-Pro nmms is a bit out of my spoce of knowledge at the moment. I know the basics of it on lp. On 1028 my knowledge is even more limited. In general nmms feels like a less fun ruleset to tas. We'll see though, maybe in the future

@@wanithh ye, its especially annoying if you have fb, bc if you fb quickly enough after the nail you can have your fb not deal dmg at all depending on the enemy. Most things in this game have s though, not only enemies, geo rocks and other breakable stuff also have them. Grimm lantern happens to be an exception iirc.

im not sure its possible to achieve such a run. I'll try to the best of my abilities though. That is the end goal of retassing this after all

@@omerkaya4844 def not yet, but it could certainly happen at some point, another problem with te is that we still arent sure what the fastest route for tas is (between ssoul or shriek), so putting around 1000 hours into something that might be obsolete doesnt seem too fun

@@bananafishbones5724 currently im taking a break from tassing, but i plan to improve this some day in the future. Hopefully i can cut 20s or so, but that may be a little ambitious

@@74v13r I have question about Uumuu fight. It's possible fight Uumuu without WCS. But it seems impossible that carry Oomas's Core during Uumuu fight without WCS. Is this not break the Wcs proofs?

@@changhaofu6844 well, i can assure you that juggling ooma cores without wcs is definitely possible, its just a bit harder, so i used wcs. The tricky part is getting the ooma core to the fight itself. thankfully, the rules dont really have cases like this in mind and they only refer to the knight being able to move through the same space with and without wcs, but they dont talk about being able to carry emeies with you. Either way, im confident its possible to do the entire teacher archives segment without wcs, but itd require a lot of work

​@@74v13r I can't find any “juggling Oomas's Core without wcs” that only has “Crystal Heart”, Even TAS only. If it switches to "Monarch Wings" or "Isma's Tear" that's would be OK. But when using Crystal Heart, I thought the only way to get in uumuu's room is “stand on the right floor and dash”. Also about the rules, I don't know if it allowed "a wcs only skip if is not a access skip".

@@changhaofu6844 you prob need to use another ooma to get across, make sure to explode it mid way through the acid to give you enough distance. Thats the only way to skip using cdash and prob the only way to get to uumuu while juggling a core without wcs. I dont think anyone has done it though, its more of a theoretical proof.

@@notEphim thanks, cdash is necessary as wcs isnt allowed for sequence breaking, you need to be able to get through somewhere without wcs to be able to use it according to the No Major Glitches ruleset, which is the one I followed. If that rule didnt exist, youd definitely skip cdash

i took dmg, but the HUD doesnt update, later i take a double dmg and the masks goes down by three

ye, some small movement mistakes, some notizable rng optimizations, a couple of better strats here and there and a relic reroute which i missed. Most notable things are getting well relic after claw and doing beast's den on 1hp. Pretty sure everything combined still isnt close enough to sub 25 for it to be realistic, but who knows. The thing is that the project takes a lot of time and you inevitably discover new things about previous segments as you go along, and fixing them is not easy.

Regardless, I'd say this is by far the most optimized tas as of today

The all glitches tas is around four minutes, it's pretty insane to watch

ye, depends on the glitches you allow, ag takes it to the extreme, nmms (No Main Menu Storage) any% tas is a bit less extreme but still pretty difficult to understand. But ye, if you skip cdash and therefore lantern itd be no problem for tas and youd get around 2mins of timesave or so

tried, but it lost me time, i fought too hard in other places for the precious frames. If you look closely im actually pretty close to saving it

theres not much competition, but ye, this is 3:30 faster than the previous one

What is this tas movement tech?

ye, turns out that it doesnt lose that much time during the run and getting to grewnpath without it became viable once the elder baldur trick was discovered

basically it has to do with the nmg rules, you can only use wcs if it doesnt sequence break (its a bit more complicated than that, but thats the main idea)
