We had such high hopes of coming to Perry Baptist Church on Sunday morning, but sadly illness took hold of the situation and prevented us from coming. Charlotte who is 4 of age was terribly disappointed and was crying as she was so looking forward to coming to church with her little brother Thomas who is 1 of age. Those sweet little tears spoke volumes! Thank you mentioning Charlotte and Thomas in this service. We look forward to coming again sometime soon!

Wishing Jon and his family, everyone from Perry Baptist Church and all of you here a happy and blessed Christmas! It's Christmas morning and my grandchildren are both still asleep! I look forward to Charlotte and Thomas waking and seeing the the joy on their little faces! Charlotte will be very keen to see if Santa ate his chocoate chip cookies. She even wanted to bring the "Velvetizer" which is a special hot chocolate machine so Santa could make himself hot chocolate and didn't forget the marshmallows! Of course, Charlotte remembered carrots for each and every reindeer!" How sweet! Charlotte with be surprised with all the presents under the Christmas tree as she only asked for one thing for Christmas; a snowman snow globe! Charlotte will love showing it to you when she comes to church! This is a special Christmas for me as I have all my family staying with me! I can't wait for the day to begin! I feel like a little child myself this Christmas morning! Merry Christmas to you all and God Bless!

Thank you, Jon, for revisiting the Nativity at your lovely church this Christmas Eve. I share with you my favourite Christmas carol "O Holy Night"!! Christmas is such a joyous and blessed time. I remember how my parents always took my brothers and I up to see the Nativity after church and how we all knelt before Baby Jesus in reverance and Awe! This was Christmas for me! I loved this special moment more than anything and cherish these memories. Visiting the Nativity is a lovely family tradition. Last Christmas my family and I attended Perry Baptist Church and were warmly greeted and welcomed! After the service my 3 year old granddaughter was shown the Nativity. Thank you, Jon, for making this special time for Charlotte and kneeling down on the floor to be her height! That was really sweet! Charlotte so enjoyed you showing her the Nativity and hearing you tell her all about the Christmas Story! It really was a lovely sight to behold! Heartfelt thanks! On the way home Charlotte began telling us all about what she had learnt about the Christmas Story and how Baby Jesus was born in a stable!! Charlotte just couldn't get over the fact Baby Jesus was born in a stable!!! Hearing my 3 year old granddaughter tell the Christmas Story to us in her sweet little way was ever so beautiful! Your little chat with Charlotte certainly instilled within her a lovely understanding of the True Meaning of Christmas! This year my 4 year old granddaughter, Charlotte, played the Blessed Mother Mary in her church Nativity. Charlotte had remembered what you said about Baby Jesus being born in a stable and sweetly laid Baby Jesus in a manger full of hay. My 1 year old grandson, Thomas, played a wiseman in the nativity! This was certainly a precious gift! The Nativity was being performed by sweet little preschool children and babies! It was simply adorable to watch! I felt truly blessed and ever so proud to see both my grandchildren taking part in a lovely church Nativity. Thank you for inviting us to see the Nativity at your lovely church. Thank you for taking us to the Twisters Gym on Day 23 of the Perry Advent calendar! Wow! What a fantastic place! This video certainly made me Smile as I was reminded of the times I watched my little granddaughter in her gymnastic class. The sheer joy and excitement on all the little ones faces was priceless as was their ability to be so Flexible and Nimble!! I was simply in Awe to watch them bend, stretch, twist, turn, twirl, jump, swing, roll, balance, dance, and climb with such confidence and such joyful hearts!!! "Joy To The World" is a perfect Christmas carol for this video! Joy to the World, The Lord is come, Let earth receive her King, Let every heart prepare him room. Perry is a little village as was Bethehem! What a lovely comparison to make! "O Little Town of Bethlehem" is such a sweet Christmas carol to accompany your message on Day 21 of the Perry Advent calendar! "O LIttle Town of Bethlehem".... The The Star of Bethlehem! The Christmas trees! I have always loved the Christmas tree ever since I was little as I found the Christmas tree to be ever so green and ever so beautiful!! This is Natures Way of Shining in God's Glory!! Thank you for visiting so many beautiful places in and around Perry including Grafham Water and the beautiful woodlands! I especially liked Day 18 and sharing with us the break of dawn and the beauty of nature and all God's creations!

This is such a beautiful scene and time of day! Speaking from someone who loves the woods and has total respect for nature and all wildlife I absolutely love this video!!!! You can hear the birds singing as the break of dawn approaches. It reminds us of the angels singing announcing the birth of Jesus Christ! The trees are magestic and the tree stumps never give up hope in rejuvenating with new Life! This is such a beautiful and spiritual message! I absolutely loved it!!

Dear Jon and Les, I feel "Doubly Blessed" this morning having two lovely gentleman speak to all of us here on Day 15 of the Advent Calendar. It is such a special treat!! Les, I really enjoyed hearing you speak about the rotary club and quoting so beautifully the four Bible verses... Matthew 5, Luke 6, Philipians 2 and Galations 6. Indeed Luke 6 spoken by Jesus Himself "Do unto others as you would have others do unto you." is the Golden Rule!! I was deeply touched by your heartwarming message about all the blessings in your life! It was simply beautiful! Thank you for sharing. Indeed, "Christianity is supose to be all about and should be all about love and care beyond our walls to the community that serves us and to each other." Beautifully said! I am combining Day 6 of your Advent Calendar where you are visiting another church in your neighbouring village where two Christian churches support one another and their community with today Day 11 where you are visiting a local prison giving hope, support and inspiration to others. This message of love, care and support for others speaks volumes! Actions do indeed speak louder than words! This is what Christianity is all about! Thank you for making this Advent calendar for all of us here as we await the joyful coming of the birth of Jesus Christ. I find these Advent messages and also your Sunday sermons very inspirational, meaningful and heartwarming! Such lovely uplifting feelings and a beautiful way to start and end your day! I especially love this message of "hope" and the beautiful words from Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given, His name should be Wonderful Counsellor, The Mighty God, The Everlasting Father and The Prince of Peace. It is such a Beautiful Feeling to know the Prince of Peace is always with us. What a Beautiful Christmas Gift!
