That last big storm was awful! We were without power for 4 days and lost our fridge food. Our generator needs fixed so couldn't use it. Definitely wasn't prepared. I didn't even know we could get tornadoes. I thought they were just common in flat lands. WV is not flat. Every year I want to make Violet jelly! The little flowers are out there now, but my health issues don't allow me to do much anymore, and my former homesteading loving daughter moved and is raising their new baby. So I lost my helper. But I have my first adorable grand child I get to see sometimes, so it's not all bad! It's so sweet to see your kids helping in the kitchen. Enjoy it! I sure do miss that.

It was crazy weather and an experience for sure. Hope you are able to get your generator fixed soon! Excited for your to enjoy sweet grand child. We are thankful our kidos have grandparents who invest and love on them.

Thanks for stopping by our channel! We are thankful for all we are doing, but yes, stay crazy busy. We have too many cats. Lol-had two mommas have litters and now in the process of having them all fixed.

If you have fire ants you must count 21days till you hatch then you must be there to remove eggs as they hatch the blood on shells draws ants pour gas three ft around her nest to keep them away

I'm only half way through, but you just came up on my feed and I love this lifestyle so had to subscribe. Im in New Zealand and it's almost the end of Spring. I live in the top part of the North Island so we dont have snow up here, so I find it fascinating to watch folks like you who survive through these cold, snowy winters.
