🎉 Yep. Basically Space Ghost was an elite space cop that found out his department was crooked. So when they found out he wouldn't compromise his morals they tried to kill him and his family. His wife who was pregnant died and he survived. So he basically goes Punisher training mode while in hiding from the cops that think he's dead. He encounters this alien that gives him tech that allows him to take on the aspects of an ethereal being. Going invisible, walking through walls, flying in a vaccum as well as energy based arm cannons. Thus Space Ghost was born. He meets the 2 kids that hangout with him as he saves them while fighting the crooked space cop unit. There is another version of the origin that explains that the monkey they have was part of a secret planet of the apes level science experiment to make a monkey that could help some secret plague that was going to be released. A serious version of Space Ghost would actually be a very good idea if made live action.
