25 USD / hour is to high I think, but for instance waitresses should earn so much that they can live okay. Therefore tipping is not a thing in Norway and Nordic countries . You are not expected to tip at all

It's important to understand that this is not a racist song, contrary to some americans who are as usual confident in their ignorance and their make believe. The blood of nobles was called "blue blood". So, the "impure blood" is in opposition our blood, the blood of the people who fight for freedom.

It's very important to know the history abour this song, because if you don't know the story of this song, you will judge badly that song.

If you remove the top 5% wealthy class and look at the remaining people, there is little to no privilege held by any particular race. Different races have small advantages in different situations. Those top 5%, whatever their race, keep control over us because we are fighting among ourselves based on race or other characteristics.

I just don’t see the point of these posts that explain what we just heard and already understand from Charlie.
@Apple553302 ай бұрын
I liked some of Charlie’s views. But if he is going around saying people to not go to college, then he lost me. Not always, but in general, people with higher degrees make more money, pay more taxes, and are less likely to get involved in criminal activities. I am with Shaq - he asked his sons to get masters degree before they could touch his wealth. Instead of telling college is bad, try to improve the system.
@schadenfreude0002 ай бұрын
Yeah, college isn't bad for students that want to become professionals. It goes into scam territory when 17 years old are signing up for $100k+ student debt to study humanities that they could learn online for free.
@Apple553302 ай бұрын
@@schadenfreude000 The cost of college education depends on personal priorities & goals, and finance planning and budgeting. Blaming those on the college system and calling colleges as scams is just wrong. If these kind of messages are pushed by successful people like Charlie, then it just affects lot of young minds. We all should be pushing for more educated society and not less educated society. May be Charlie can educate himself without college, but most people will benefit from a college education.
@SirMeowthius2 ай бұрын
He isnt saying dont go to college. What he has been saying is be mindful of what degrees you go for because most of them are absolutely useless in the real world. I.e. The infamous Liberal Arts Degree is one of the worst degrees you can get because literally no business actually recognizes as a field of study that relates to the real world. The other thing he has been saying is that the reason degrees are wasteful and debt causing is the amount of non-related credits you are forced to take, meaning what takes 3 years to get in most other countries takes us 4-6 years. It makes our personal debt atrocious. If you want a degree thats still useful, become a Doctor, Engineer, Architect, Nuclear Physicist.

Amazing destiny of patriotic song for l"Army of the Rhine (the real name of the Marseillaise) composed in the east of France on the banks of the Rhine in Strasbourg on the evening of 26 April 1792 by a royalist officer Claude Rouget de Lisle who then became the national official anthem of the 1st French Republic in 1794 since 1879 after decades of prohibition in France , again the national anthem of the French Republic from 1879 until today. It was called the Marseillaise because sung on the way to Paris by volunteer soldiers from Marseille in the south of France to the French capital to fight the enemy invasion in the east and north of France which popularized it thus in the towns and villages crossed by them. It was while singing the Marseillaise, that the Marseillais volunteers arrived in Paris and made it known to the Parisian population and it is always while singing the Marseillaise, that the Marseillais volunteers stormed the royal castle of the Tuileries in Paris on August 10, 1792 resulting in the fall of royalty in France and the capture of King Louis XVI and his family.While singing the Marseillaise, the Marseillais soldiers participated in the battle of Valmy on September 20, 1792, 1st revolutionary military victory where French troops of volunteers pushed back the professional army and mercenaries of Prussia of the Duke of Brunswick saving Paris from the invasion. It is a turning point in history because the European monarchies who wanted to restore the king of France Louis XVI on his throne will no longer succeed in stopping the French revolutionary wave that from Valmy will spread throughout Europe causing other monarchies to fall and it is also the first time that a conscription army was victorious over a professional army.The german writer Goethe who fought as an officer in the Prussian army at the Battle of Valmy in 1792 wrote the turning point of this battle in the rest of history and speaks of the fear that had seized the Prussian soldiers when the French soldiers intone the Marseillaise during the assault, "the terrible war song of the French" as described by Goethe.Thus the Marseillaise became the revolutionary song par excellence and republican regimes. It was while singing the Marseillaise that the Belgians rose in 1831 against the Dutch, then the Poles against the Russian tsar, the Hungarians and the Austrians against the emperor Ferdinand, the Prussians against their king in Berlin, in what will be called in Europe the spring of the peoples of 1848 , many revolutions that break out at the same time on this continent repressed in blood following the revolution it victorious in France which proclaims the 2nd republic after having deposed King Louis-Philippe in February 1848. The Marseillaise was also the national anthem of several countries. Thus, Lenin returned to Russia in 1917 at the station of St Peterbourg to the sound of the Marseillaise which will thus be the 1st national anthem of the communist revolutionary Russia until the official creation of the USSR in 1922 where it will be replaced by the song The International other song French revolutionary of the commune of Paris in 1871.In April 1931, after the fall of royalty in Spain, the new Spanish republic adopted the Marseillaise as its national anthem, leading to protests by the French government, so that the Spanish republicans will replace the Marseillaise as the national anthem with the anthem of Riego. But during the official ceremonies and demonstrations the supporters of the Republic will continue to sing the Marseillaise considered the true republican anthem by them, for Riego’s anthem was the anthem of liberal royalists in revolt against the absolute monarchy of King Ferdinand VII in 1820 as royalty was driven out. The writer and future Spanish minister Jorge Semprun who was 8 years old in 1931 describes the excitement of the crowd in Madrid singing the Marseillaise and the loudspeakers diffilising the Marseillaise facing the Spanish royal palace in Madrid to pressure King Alfonso XIII to that he relinquishes power.The Marseillaise is certainly the most famous and popular national anthem in the world and remains the French national anthem par excellence even when it was not. As the French writer Jules Vernes recounts, who during the reign of Emperor Napoleon III attended a cruise on a foreign ship in 1861 and where foreign participants in the cruise asked the orchestra to play the French national anthem. The orchestra performed by playing "En partant pour la Syrie" national anthem of the epoch because composed by Hortense de Beauharnais mother of the emperor Napoleon III while the Marseillaise considered as subversive song was prohibited in France. The spectators then protested by asking the orchestra "No, play us the true national anthem of France, the Marseillaise" and the orchestra performed.
