A friend of mine taught me the expression "all gear, no idea" when talking about over privileged kids who thought they could buy expensive instruments and amps, read books and pay for lessons, and that would somehow make them good musicians. Caleb gives off that exact vibe. He has bought guns, even fired them and hit targets in very controlled environments, and for some reason thinks that makes him the authority on using a gun. But as Paul pointed out brilliantly is his rebuttal, target shooting, is not real shooting. Its fantastic if you want to hit a target at an exact distance in a perfectly safe situation, but not much use otherwise. I am confident that Caleb's gun and "skills" would be of no use to him at all in a personal protection or hunting situation.
