That car was not paying attention to the strobing lights of the other cop and did not even try to slow down. Not saying its his fault but the car did have strobing flashlights on the road in front of him for like 8 seconds. Just saying

UPDATE: For those wondering what happened after, His Family sued the Police Department and won 5m. The cop involved in this was found inoccent of any charges.

Holy smokes that was nuts, pretty much everyone in this video fucked up except for the one cop strobing his flash light at the driver to signal him. But god damn holy shit was that a series of quick fuck ups, the kid shouldn’t of ran, the cop should not have tased him on a highway at night, and the driver should have braked or been paying attention. I hope everyone involved can find peace and that hopefully we can all take something away from this situation.

Y'all need to stop pinning the fault on just one person. Y'all have to think about these events critically. The suspect is mainly responsible for the events that occur, he could've just accepted the ticket, but no, he had to give a fake name, and run, all the while being high on drugs. The cops are 30% responsible because they shouldn't have tased him on the road with incoming traffic and should've at least tried to pull him out. The driver is the least responsible for the events because they didn't seem to brake at all, that and they could've thought the police were carjackers.

That cop should have known better than to tase someone in the middle of the road.
