It was a good lesson in politics. You wanted the wild card to mix things up and disrupt the system but then give you the generic corperate shill

Not many people can say that (1) they sat on a couch with Tori Amos, (2) sang with Tori Amos, (3) had Tori Amos's hand on their leg, (4) had Tori Amos hug them, and (5) all of the above.

I just remember Carson Daly being so annoyed every time he had to be on TV with Camp. It was hilarious.

Jesse is way more likeable than Carson Daly. I would way rather hang out with Jesse any day. Carson seems uptight and bitchy😂

Seeing MTV go from playing actual music to reality shows with this punk poser version of Pauley Shore was awful. This is the exact moment when MTV sucked, and it never recovered.

Lol. He pretends that he can barely read. I'm reality he went to a high end boarding school with a scholarship, and was offered a full ride at college too.

I watched every second of this contest and was yelling at my screen to stop his nonsense. I was pissed when he won because Dave was the true music fanatic and deserved to win. I'm glad Dave went on to better things and we never had to hear from Jesse again

I should review this next on my channel. Some of MTV’s best work. This just resonated with kids at the time. This kids talent was astounding and I’ve only ever said that about my childhood friends & babysitters Skinny Puppy (but it’s not cool, despite huge talent), & 16Volt. Both of whom there’s some stories about up too. Check out my growing up in rock n roll playlist, then go check out my music.

He was one hell of an actor His father was a college professor, mother was an elementary school principal.....he went to A BOARDING SCHOOL, not public, not private.....boarding school.....a scholarship to UCLA drama department..... Often, the most creative artists have parents who were professors and sometimes, in the northeast USA, go to boarding schools. Back then I didn't know much, he seemed real and interesting, I thought he lived on the streets of New York, in a one bedroom shack, mattress on the floor, peeling paint, dilapidated stinky building, possibly with a drug addiction, and hanging out with his friends on the streets, possibly running from police, maybe got kicked out of his apartment, sleeping on the streets, tries to stay with his "girlfriend" who sleeps during the day and disappears at night for hours after receiving a phone call......but no. He made a comment about apes and bananas standing next to a black person which I found a bit odd.
