funnily enough, the blurred girl at 2:25 has now been revealed as choi yena (former izone member now soloist). she trained under bbc/polaris for a while (confirmed over the last month by 2jin and yena) before moving to yuehua where she would go to produce 48 and izone, and now solo with her debut song smiley !~

It hasn’t been “revealed” it’s been assumed haha… yall assume that since she was a trainee with Polaris around that time and it sounds like her that that is forsure her…when you say “revealed” you make it seem like the company or Yena has came out and confirmed that it was her when that’s not that case… so that girl in the Video is ASSUMED to be Yena

year old comment soz but blockberry supposedly had some kind of competition behind the scenes as to who would actually debut as a loona member. trainees were in brackets and a rep would be selected for loona eligibility if they performed well in tests and evals etc, competing to be one of the next of the 12 members. first place of these reps would become a loona member, and the rest would get to pick which bracket they moved to. (or at least thats what some staff said, doesn't make too much sense considering hyeju's 1-day training period. i reckon they either dropped this system pretty early, or hyeju just happened to be at the right time right place). so no, she was not going to be a 13th member, she was a potential member though.

in the early pre debut era, loona had the concept of being one girl presented per month, their name in korean is actually " girl of the month " because of this concept, but they have their loona tvs, wich are basically behind the scenes short videos, sometimes some girls had to be blurred because they were not introduced yet.
