I tried this last year at about 6 months in to my walk with Christ. It turned into idolizing marriage, so I cut all the pages out of the notebook and repurposed it. Now It’s just about a year later and I’m going to try again with more experience, wisdom and discernment. God has been leading me towards preparing for marriage and I want to have something to remember the journey by. And covering my future husband in prayer now definitely couldn’t hurt and makes good habits for the future.

I wanna marry my girlfriend so bad but right now my college roadmap is 2 more years till I become a nurse, 1 year of experience (which I’ll be getting paid like around 70k-80k, but then after my year of experience I’ll need to go back to school to pursue a higher degree for the job that I actually dream of having (CRNA) but it’ll leaves me jobless for my last 2 years of school 😭, although by that time, my future wife will have just been graduated but I will be completely jobless, as it’s actually a requirement to be unemployed to pursue the degree/career that I’m going for. I know it’ll be worth it in the end because of that 200k+ a year I’ll be making after graduation but we really really wish we could get married now

From guys point of view all women are beautiful. Really. Guys wont really be able to understand why girls feel this way, and everybody has their favorite flavor of ice cream. Big small tall short… the persons heart and soul is what really matters. Men like women who try of course, but I remember a girl i was fixated on and she looked good with makeup and even better to me when she didn’t put makeup on and wasn’t trying

This is weird, my wife and I just this morning had this conversation. As an almost 60-year-old guy, I can say that most of this applies to men as well as women. Not make-up, but how many guys find their self-worth in getting jacked at the gym? Men and women both need to focus on their relationship with the Lord. Even the marriage relationship, you both should be coming before the Lord and make your marriage a partnership with God. There are clearly no consequences, it is so weird that this would show up in my feed with only 11 views so far. Appreciate your thoughts, keep on the good path that you are on!

Aw.. so good to know we’re not alone🤣 what has helped me love being a homemaker is watching humble families in Brazil making their beds and cooking with love for their kids lol it inspired me to make a routine like you said in my pLanner and take a shower to start my day and really cherish that day with my little ones at the comfort of our home. So many mothers have to put their children in daycare etc and it’s really a gift from God to be able to be their sole caregivers, so it’s a mindset for me now😅 💕
