Goku... he sees 8ighter laying there in pieces... dead... and it haunts him... made him realize that 8ighter was as loving and sweet and kind and wise as Grandpa Gohan. And that Goku doesn't have the sentient android that reminds him of his grandpa brings to the surface his pain over Gohan. Another loved one he didn't rescue. It does make me ask: " Would Goku cry like this for Yamcha? Puar? Oolong?" In Super, it would have been awesome for this part of Gohan to be hughlighted again. And like, Yamcha handles a number of powerful bad guys well and after giving everything to face a new foe as everyone watches, he dies rescuing ChiChi, Ox King, Bulma and Oolong, Puar... Goku learning that Yamcha may have been Hakaied somehow loses it when all those years come flooding him way back when...

I dunno if anyone has noticed that yet , but at 2:41 goku's hair took the shape of his super saiyan hair for split second , akira was really foreshadowing super saiyan even before it's reveal .
