That 5669 used to be Hershey’s locomotive for many years. I remember seeing that locomotive many years ago. Too bad I wasn’t able to see it again in person today again after over a decade

Thanks for watching. I just watched a video from 15 years ago on KZbin. Guy posted a video back then of the 5669 shifting Hershey. Things sure did change since then all gone now. I talked to the engineer yesterday that runs the local. He is retiring in 5 days. Maybe it will come back on something later. Forgot to mention i heard that guy that talks on broadcastify all the time he was mentioning something about 30a bringing something out of Enola. Wonder if he meant the 5669?

That's cool. Idecided to go to Hershey yester day. Got one today i think that is usually in Enola. Operation Lifesaver #5669 on 30a this afternoon in Hummelstown. That did take me by surprise yesterday. Some nice classics on that yesterday.

One of my favorite spots! I’ve never seen a rear DPU on one of those coals before. Usually it’s two mid DPUs.

Wow !! I captured a good one. I am from Pennsylvania.I was in Williamsburg on vacation. I miss a good one the first day driving on Richmond road i looked over and CSX was taking emptys back. Looked like 7 or 8 units on the front.Thanks for watching.

@@BeeLineEast Yeah our empties will usually do 4-7 unit moves, which are probably the DPUs just being sent to the front. I missed out on catching the Spirit of the Armed Forces unit. I think it’s still in NPN but that’s too close to Williamsburg for me to track efficiently.

@@MrMarshmallow26 Wow that would have been a great catch. I'm in Norfolk Southern territory.. But i did get CSX running with Norfolk Southern twice. Guy told me the other week a CSX came through with a Norfolk Southern A lot of Intermodals run here. Two Intermodal yards about 4 miles apart Rutherford and Harrisburg.

Not sure Dan. I just got home from Williamsburg Va.this afternoon. Last I saw it was near Sunset Park East of Royalton. That was a week ago. That is different there. All CSX and Amtrak. I posted some videos while I was there.

Keep them coming brother 😊 I once took a trip from my home in St. Petersburg Florida to St. Lewis Missouri. I took a cab (car) to a bus to the train in Tampa. I took that train to near the airport in Orlando where I caught a plane to St. Lewis and THE best ride of all those modes of transportation was the train. Hands down, without a doubt. 🥰

That looked like Seaboard grey color on that locomotive. And after a few views, now it looks like a Norfolk Southern locomotive up front and Union Pacific behind it.

@@ConrailKid8098 Are you out today there are some N/S maitance workers standing at the Duke St. Hummelstown crossing. Sometime special units stop there like the Geometry Unit etc. I just got here.
