HELLO. I finally purchased the Panasonic VX1 4K Ultra HD Camcorder (HC-VX1EG-K). My first impressions are that the zoom performance and daytime shots are very good. However, night shooting doesn't seem to meet my expectations. In some comments, it was said that this camera has the feature of pausing and resuming the video without stopping. But I couldn't do it anyway. I need information on how it is done.

I love all big muffs and the reissues are pretty cool as are boutique stuff but honestly there needs to be a conversation on how underrated the black russian is… its literally an improved russian circuit. When it comes to the green circuit the earlier the better. The red army and civil war muffs are really the ones you want tbh. Personally i wouldn’t buy a boutique variant or a reissue because muffs sound different from pedal to pedal. If you’re going vintage you just have to search until you find the one you like. The reissues are often disappointing and tbh the current nyc muff is v underrated and is arguably the best sounding circuit and most versatile of them all.

Thank you for this! The camcorder in NTSC seems to have a bit better picture quality, like more crisp and fluid, and most importantly the PAL's atrocious rolling shutter seems also a bit improved. Cheers!

I have no idea why we are still.using the pal standard in a world of KZbin and Netflix. All modern tvs can handle both.

Because some old non-LED lights tend to flicker with 50Hz in regions where the electrical grid uses 50Hz. However this has gotten rather rare in the last few years, because old light-bulbs cause high electricity bills, and thus mostly got replaced. Meanwhile, every TV and projector and similar is 60Hz, which is much more common to encounter than old light bulbs, so you definitely want to record in 30 or 60fps nowadays.

On the Deluxe you have to set your blend at 50% so that you get both the dry signal and the delayed signal together, which creates the chorus effect. I noticed you turned the blend all the way up, which is why there was so little chorus effect.

It’s just a Polychorus. Names for the same unit are, in chronological order: Echoflanger, Polyflange, Polychorus . Minor circuitry differences between old, not so old, and new. All sound very similar and do the same stuff. The circuitry differences have nothing to do with the name changes.

@@Wolf_KThe 3 original units (Echoflanger, Polyflange and Polychorus) function a little different to the 90s and 2000s Polychorus reissues. They sound pretty different as a result. The tune knob and blend switch on the originals are the main difference. On the reissues the tune knob just adds a delay on top of the modulation, whereas on the vintage ones it changes the tone of the effect and works backwards to how you’d expect. The blend switch on the vintage ones acts as a dry/wet balance. Blend on is roughly a 50/50 ratio whereas blend off is 100% wet signal which gives it a pitch bending effect. The reissues have a sweep filter instead of this which is completely different and just changes the filtering of the modulation. Blend ‘on’ on the originals is the equivalent of sweep ‘off’ on the reissues. Despite this you can dial them in to sound fairly close in the more normal ranges of modulation, but when you push the original units into the upper extremes of the controls the reissues don’t sound quite right.

Panasonic couldn't help me with this, but this video solved it for me, thank you. There was no mention of what "COM" means in any of their manuals, both the advanced and the basic manuals had no information. Turns out I just needed to clear the COM message.

Don't buy this i9 -12900K...... it is costlier and performance wise LOW compare with i7-13700K.... Secondly, the Cooling tower is not compatible to this i9-12900K and has to go for Liquid cooler of costlier one....... But Cool Master 6 brass pipes cooling tower with 2 fans is best for this i7-13700K...

Why so difficult? Why not in menu like in camerad since ages? And why do they still use interlaced mode? What is it for? Is it any good? There should be some fps and compression options to choose, but not from interlaced video.
