It’s a relief to have a meeting where that one trustee didn’t show up. Everything was productive, I didn’t have to listen to her talk over everyone and my ears didn’t bleed. Vote her out..

My town is actually Dundee in Scotland and wondered if someone could give me any information about when the village/town was created and how the name was chosen.

East dundee just spent thousands of dollars in no parking signs for an ordinance that last from December to March. They are ugly, everywhere and pointless. This is another waste of taxpayer dollars

I like how the village buys Haeger Pottery and two houses on VanBuren/72 for gentrification but graciously votes to let’s the old Dominick’s building become a glorified garage sale… can wait to vote in April.

Blows my mind that these trustees are backing a flea market from Elgin coming to town. I won’t forget it in a month and a half at Election Day.

After watching many videos on different social media outlets seems like this place caters to just the Hispanic community and not the community as a whole. Not something our family would support, step into or shop at. Sorry

I very much appreciate that these videos are posted in such a timely manner. It opens up transparency in our Village and helps make it easier to understand how our local government works, for those who are unable to attend the meetings in person. That being said, I'm trying my hardest to listen to this on full volume, and I an unable to hear 90 percent of what is being said. I think that the microphone is running off of the camera unit, which appears to be on the back end of the room. For an omnidirectional microphone, it's going to pick up the sniffles of the person 3 feet away much better than the Village board talking 20+ feet away. I understand that these videos typically only see around 200+ views a piece, so the solution would have to be cost effective for the audience that is being reached, but a video that's inaudible causes more frustration than is necessary.
