Nice trick Coach,-- BUT,-- As an amiture magician, I enjoy solving how the trick was done. In your performance when you spread the cards I made note of the bottom card, which was the 9 of hearts. I was very perplexed when you counted down 12 cards and revealed the 9 of hearts. After 10 or 15 minutes of mind bending torture, I proceeded to the tutorial. Long story short. Looks like some editing happened [no idea why] and unfortunately for you. You landed on that same nine of hearts.

Hey, yes, very good spot! There is indeed a continuity error there (I had some camera issues!). Hopefully that doesn't take away from how great the trick is though. Thanks for watching! 👍

This is brilliant, Coach! Definitely one of the strongest card trick I have ever seen - self-working or otherwise. Also, it has the additional element of mentalism, which elevates it beyond just a "card trick." Not only that, but it is completely impromptu with any deck, the spectator can shuffle, and there is no set up, gaffs, or gimmicks required! Wow! And I really like your patter and presentation. Thank you for sharing this gem, and I really like that you gave credit to Charles Jordan (many others on KZbin fail to credit the creators, which is a loss to the history of magic). You have a new sub.

Great trick . When spectator does final cut at 8 mins, is there anything else I can add to convince spectator the card is lost ? Or would that disrupt the order to locate the cards ..
@dowaliby1
@dowaliby1 Күн бұрын
You could have the spectator cut and complete the cut as many times as they desire. It won't change or disrupt a thing. Furthermore, you can emphasize that they shuffled, they chose the number, and that there is no possible way that you can know either what their card is or where it is.

❤ I am terrible at maths but I will give it a go, I subscribed and liked. A question though, when I buy new cards they are always difficult to handle, stick together etc. Is there a way of making them easier to handle or am I buying cards that are too cheap, i cant afford expensive ones

You need to stay away from cheaply made cards if you want to do magic tricks!!The most popular standard decks for magicians are BICYCLE decks. Just one or two of these decks are worth more than ten cheaply made decks; plus you can get trick cards already made by this company, such as double back, double face etc. Good luck with your magic; This is a wonderful channel to learn from!! How do you predict the other cards if you are using bottom card as a guide ?
@coachtrick9332
@coachtrick9332 5 күн бұрын
Hey, you just perform it exactly the same but with the bottom cards. Start with naming the bottom card that you glimpsed as the first prediction, take the bottom card from one of the other piles and use that as the next prediction, and do the same for the final prediction. Hope that helps!

don't really understand your comment. What do you expect as a matching card? The same card in a single deck? Now surely this effect could be done wih a written prediction. Don't think that it would be a better trick though.

That's nice 👍, but what if the top card is a face card or if the corresponding card is the bottom catds I mean, if the prediction is the bottom card 🤗! . Also all of your Card tricks tutorial are only about pridiction so sir , why not some tricks like which has been never taught 🤗👍
@coachtrick9332
@coachtrick9332 12 күн бұрын
Hey, thanks for watching! For a face card you can allocate a value of your choice, 10 works quite well. If the corresponding card is in the bottom cards, I find just casually cutting the deck to get a new choice works quite well (in the process of finding a prediction card). Absolutely, stay tuned for lots more effects. Thank you again! 👍

A clever round the clock trick! The card is picked at 3rd position and the first word must consists min 3 characters* (max 9 chars due to 9 cards) 2nd word 'Of' is always 2 chars, this is to push the target card to 5th position as it is put under the deck of cards! 3rd words must consists at least 5 chars so that it will cover the target 5th card in the deck of cards. After those numbers of final cards is 'deal out' and place under the deck, the picked card will always stay at centre of the deck of cards which is the 5th card! cheers! #@PauloPereira-yn6ck Hi, I tried and it seem like this trick is not working well in German!

Thx for the tip. Almost. 😁Selecting the 2nd card from the top and then locating the 4th card (and not the middle one) seems to work with German card names. For example "three of hearts" is "Herz Drei" in German or "ten of clubs" is "Kreuz Zehn" and that works this way.
