Tiny detail: not a fillet - that's a round, or a chamfer. A fillet is the term for a rounded inside corner; round and chamfer for outside corners (edges). I figure you, as an engineer, would probably welcome a correction for your audience. This is a very well-done video - cat and all - and deals with an issue that, for those who have bought whole guns, never comes up. But when you - as I have done - buy an aftermarket barrel (2, actually - one with a compensator that came with no link or pin, and one for .460 Rowland that comes with a link and pin) fitment to the slide is obviously of major importance. Any misalignment of the barrel (short link) will lessen the contact area with the slide, or (long link) jam the barrel into the slide, raising the slide and increasing slide to frame friction or even failing to bring the slide into battery. Thanks for the discussion; good video.
@rjg020059 күн бұрын
@@MrGsteele i do appreciate the correction. At that time I was modeling parts in Solidworks for most of the work day, and the fillet tool can be used to create an edge radius to an outside corner. Vocab slip-up. Thanks for the correction nevertheless. The process of assembling a 1911 was so much more involved, and educational, than I expected going in. On a totally different level than assembling a Glock clone of AR-15. As you point out, the interplay between various components is critical. A compensated 1911 is likely next on the list. Thanks again for the feedback.

Was it great the first time he was in office? With the exception of 2020 and 2021 (-2.2% and +5.8% respectively) economic growth has been essentially +2.2% regardless of who's in the office. National debt has been increasing (as always). When it comes to helping ensure more freedoms for Americans, both have actively worked to give more power to corporations and limit individual liberty. They have both worked to expand the scope (and cost) of the federal government. Unless you're looking at this from some moralistic or virtue signalling perspective (which are valid, but let's be honest with ourselves about that), I see no difference in them beyond their rhetoric.

@@58MrMike solid choices! I haven't had hands on a shadow systems pistol yet, and the cr920 looks pretty intriguing. The lcr is an interesting choice I hadn't considered. Great video! Have a PM2 in S30V and Para 3 in CPM M4, they are awesome. Have been really wanting to try a Delica, Sage or Native for something less intimidating at work. This video is steering me to the Delica, like the thin profile, light weight and less "stabby" look, think it should fit the bill. You are 100% correct, the PM2 is best for backpacking, camping, etc.....Para 3 better for EDC, but it's still quite beefy (more than I need at work).
