I think it would be cool if the mod had Dagoth’s original voice when you start, and as you work your way through the ruin it slowly changes to this one.

Definitely see what they were go for, but the delivery lacks a lot of the original charm. Dagoth Ur is supposed to be charismatic and haughty. He’s not just some villain hoping to take over the world, he believes he’s the godhead and literally dreams the world into existence. Original “I’m a god, how can you kill a god” line is meant to convey that haughtiness as fact, this one sounds a lot more like he’s trying to convince us. Only other major problem is that he’s supposed to sound absolutely panicked and desperate when you finally attack the heart-he’s calm and collected until he’s no longer in control. Then he cracks, because he knows his plan is falling apart in front of him, and his thousands of years of patience was for nothing. This dude seems irritated, like he just wants you out of his room. Besides that, not bad.

This should have been the original voice and the voice in the actual game be the mod.

Interesting interpretation of Dagoth Ur in his more "monstrous" side. Double personalities and masks are a big deal for Dunmers and it's no difference for their gods. It allowed to prepare some surprises for players. After seeing creatures infected by Corprus, everyone was expecting some crazy abomination to haunt our dreams for some time, instead we get mostly Dunmer-looking, refined gentleman with pleasant voice. Vivec's deleted voice was more in line with this video. It makes sense, if Dagoth Ur is the victim and Tribunal are the betrayers of Nerevar.

Orginal is easily better

I actually like this voice. It makes him sounds less chilled and inviting. He sounds more sinister and menacing like he truly is some insane beyond death monster.
