We are headed back to Galveston in a couple of weeks and we are staying at the the Tru for the first time. We normally stay at the Holiday Inn Resort. But we didn't have that kind of $$ this year. We have eaten at this Papas Pizza place before and they have really moved up in world since we ate there. Thanks for the video. I love seeing people's experiences/memories!!

Thank you sooo much for sharing! 3 hours is waaayyy too long and the food didn't look that appetizing at all. We cruise in 2 weeks so we'll pass on this as well.

We loved the port for Royal Caribbean. Very clean, lots of different shopping options and restaurants to choose from. Restrooms were clean. There is even a staircase leading into the water for swimming but I didn’t see sand there so maybe I missed it. Worth checking out the water was clear.

This is not Grease, but some sanitized iteration. Virtually everything is wrong with this compared to the original Broadway show, which was far superior. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Yeah … obvious from the very beginning. “Grease Is the Word” was written for the movie version, which was already a far cry from the play as performed in New York.

I have sailed Star Class several times and it is amazing. Either you got cheated on day one or they are cutting back. Usually the room is stocked with drinks in the fridge and on the counter...yes I know they refill daily, but they always give more to start. You also should have a very nice spread of food when you arrive with snacks, sandwiches, desserts, cheese, crackers or any number of goodies. I hope they have not cut back even more. Before, they had a daily happy hr cart that came to your room with special drinks. They also used to have Genie gifts for each guest. Not the logo stuff from the gift shop, but real nice gifts catered to what you like...earrings, colonge, watches, nice sunglasses etc. They have done away with that and just give you some trinkets from the gift shop, which is nice but for what you pay they could do better. Will be on Harmony next month so I hope its the same as it was last year.

Very good question. I was told that it was. We visited Cozumel in 2018 on Carnival and the port was different. I thought this once was nicer and even had access to the water but no life guard.
